y/n was still perplexed on why Huening Kai is suddenly avoiding her for the past consecutive three days. Whenever she tries to approach him, he'll hide behind someone else's back and pretend that he didn't noticed her at all. Whenever she tries to talk to him, he will pretend that he's talking to someone to ignore her.
The whole three days feel empty for her ever since Huening Kai told her that Taehyun is now her soulmate and now he's avoiding her. And she's still confused on what's the reason behind Huening Kai's ignorance.
"Did I do something wrong?" she mumbled to herself, still staring at Huening Kai who's now across the table sitting in between Yeonjun and Soobin.
she pouted disappointedly, couldn't help but to think that maybe she's really the one to blame at his sudden actions.
"Beomgyu, can you please hand me a tissue over there?" Huening Kai asked while pointing at the tissue infront of Beomgyu's tray,
y/n, being able to caught up with what he said, immediately grabbed the tissue and hand it over to Huening Kai with a big smile on her face, "Here!"
Huening Kai looked at her with a straight and blanked face, before looking at the tissue she was holding and refusing to take it, "Nevermind"
y/n's shoulder downed automatically, her smile faded in instant once Huening Kai refused a tissue she's handing over. y/n, being disappointed, was about to put the tissue back into its proper place, but Taehyun said,
"y/n, can I have that instead?" Taehyun asked while awkwardly lending his hand.
y/n nodded in response as she was about to give it to Taehyun but a fast hand suddenly flashed in a blink of an eye, stealing the tissue away from y/n's hands.
Her eyes widened because of that, and saw Huening Kai finally holding the tissue she was trying to give her earlier.
"I'll take it" Huening Kai said mumbling, while looking down and couldn't look straight in her eyes.
y/n couldn't help but to smile even further, as she knew she succeeded a bit on giving him some tissue he wanted.

When the lunch break's over, they started parting ways as they all have different sections and rooms to come into. Soobin and Yeonjun on the college building while the rest are on the junior and senior building.
Huening Kai and Taehyun were walking together along the hallway because they both have the same classes. And while walking through the ever long hallway, the silence grew thicker as they both didn't knew how to approach each other after finally having the hint that they both liked one girl.
"How long will it last to get our friendship back?" Taehyun asked, speaking with a low tone on purpose to for the students around them to not hear what they're talking about.
"We're fine. Don't be dramatic" Huening Kai coolly said.
"C'mon, don't pretend as if nothing's happening between us two"
They both knew that something changed in between them after being in love with the same girl. The friendship they once had is like inseparable, they can't be beaten by any other. But now, it seemed like a barrier is blocking them to go back to the same old them.
"you like y/n, do you?" Taehyun assuringly asked while smirking as he saw how it gave much impact to Huening Kai when he mentioned her name.
Just as Huening Kai don't even have a plan to answer, the bell rang meaning it-s pass lunch time and the students are now obligated to be inside of their room at this very moment. The students around them suddenly vanished in an instant as they all run in full speed to go to their respective rooms. But Taehyun and Huening Kai only continued walking normally.
He even saw how Huening Kai's expression changed in an unidentified manner. And just by looking at his face, and the silence in between the question, Taehyun already knew the answer.
"Are you afraid that I might win her over you?" Taehyun asked.
Taehyun jolted in shocked, stopped walking when Huening Kai suddenly stopped walking and faced him. The younger but the taller one looked down at Taehyun, intensely looking at him with his flaming eyes that made Taehyun stepped backward. Never really imagined that Huening Kai will ever give him such a fear like this.
"why would I? You already win this thing." But much to his surprise, Taehyun was confused to what Huening Kai said.
He looked at him with his eyes full of confusion. But Huening Kai only shook his head disappointedly and continued walking after that, leaving a speechless Taehyun behind. But before he could completely vanished from Taehyun's sight, he said, "Hey... don't worry. You won't have any competition from now on"
"i'm not fighting anymore"
