"Who called the cops?"

"Sorry ma'am I will have to confiscate that until your parents pick you up from the station" he says taking my phone along with everyone else's

THEY'RE GONNA CALL MY PARENTS! I'm for sure dead now, there goes my temporary freedom.

We all got in the cop cars, I was with Ayame and Dongkwan. Out of everyone they seem the most calm right now, and for what.

"Sebin relax, we aren't going to die" Dongkwan reassured her

For someone who cares about her permanent record she sure is TOO calm.

"We'll get through this, we didn't do anything bad." Ayame added

But we did, we trespassed a Graveyard, a place where dead people live and where alive people mourn. I'm pretty sure that's a crime itself. These freshmen, they really have some guts.

A whole police car ride later, we finally arrived at the station, and were put into a holding cell.

"In my whole life, I never thought I would end up at the police station as a middle schooler" Yeji complained

"Well Boohoo" Sunghoon teased

"You have to come, he said, it'll be safer,he said" Yeji said in a very annoyed tone

"Yeji, don't talk to your brother like that, he's trying to protect you" Jake explained

"Protect me, my ass" Yeji said, starting a tantrum

"YEJI LANGUAGE" Dongkwan yelled in surprise

"You're not the one with a twisted ankle are you?" Yeji responded, clearly trying to point out she's injured.

"Yeji, you've really grown to have an attitude. Who taught you this?" Dongkwan asked the younger girl.

Yeji is really reminding me of myself... It's painful to watch, I didn't know how annoying I sounded

"I'm 12! Am I not allowed to speak my mind? I'm exercising my right to free speech." Yeji argued, crossing her arms.

"Well you won't be free to speak your mind once mom and dad find out." Sunghoon states, eyeing his sister.

Meanwhile at the other side of the holding cell Jungwon and Ayame are whispering about something.. I can barely hear their conversation

I decide to walk towards Jake because he seems quiet at the moment.

"Hey Jake" I greeted him

"Hi Princess"

"...Please stop calling me that"

"Of course princess... I mean Sebin"

"Anyways, you seem worried about something" I remarked

"No.. I mean.. I guess, I've never seen Yeji act like that, she's always looked up to her brother and trusted him with her life"

It's weird how he's worried about his best friend's family problem more than he is worried about getting told off by his parents

"I mean people grow up, isn't that normal" I said

"I guess, but... maybe I'm just overthinking it sorry" He said apologizing

"No no it's all good, say, you don't happen to know what those two are whispering about do you?" I asked looking at Ayame and Jungwon

"Honestly, no, they were never that close the last time I saw them. Everything is so different since the last time I came here" Jake explained

That's odd, I wonder how Jungwon and Ayame got close, everything about their friendship is soo secretive.

"When was the last time you came here?" I asked

"Uhh, around the time Ayame and Dongkwan just moved here, I came back because my parents had a business meeting with Dongkwan's parents a long time ago, but I doubt she remembers that 'cause she was busy in her room crying over her brother" Jake explained

"You knew her brother?" I asked

"Not exactly, I was a lot older than she was at the time so I understood more than she would. Her parents explained a bit about it to me when I was still young but I did forget parts of it"

"Then shouldn't you have told her?"

"I'm not in the place to do so. Some things are kept private for a reason, that's why I don't bother with affairs that I don't have any correlation to whatsoever" he continued "Speaking of which, where's Sunoo"

WHERE IS SUNOO! Why do we keep losing him omg

"Sunoo isn't lost, he was excused to go back to the hospital to check on his mom, plus I don't think him nor his mom will be calm if he was in this situation with us right now" Jungwon answered their question from afar

HE HEARD US! WHAT KIND OF SUPERNATURAL HEARING!

"Ayame and Dongkwan please come out and take your phone calls" a lady in a police uniform informed them.

Oh I guess we're calling people now, great now I'm most likely expected to call my parents or a legal guardian to get me out of this mess.

I see the two girls stand up walking towards the lady to now make their phone calls.

"It must be nice to have reliable parents.." I whispered to myself.

"So umm Sebin, I haven't really heard much about you. What even got you into our little friend group?" Jake asks me

"Well you see, I just moved here recently, like a couple days ago. Sunoo introduced me to everyone during lunch, without my permission may I add, then you know all of this happened." I explain to Jake, still sorta refusing this all happening in such a short period of time.

"Oh wow, all of you guys have recently met and you're all getting along great. Things really have changed." Jake responded

"Did everyone not get along back then?" I ask the boy.

"You already know about the Ayame and Jungwon situation. Sunghoon, Sunoo and Dongkwan on the other hand... They were quite a handful back then. Plus, Sunghoon and Jungwon couldn't even look at each other" Jake responded, looking back on his past memories.

What kind of character development did everyone here go through if they all acted like that back then.

"To put the story short, Sunoo was practically friends with everyone. Whether they be from a different grade, he'd know them. Which is why everyone here is from freshman to senior year. I'm pretty sure the day Dongkwan and Ayame moved here was the day Sunoo introduced them to us. Though Dongkwan was pretty annoyed by him and only cared about one thing, her grades, hence why she was also annoyed by Sunghoon. Ayame was slightly the opposite, she seemed like she liked making new friends so she adjusted quite quickly despite the language barrier" Jake explains. "Though it seems like all of that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. It's like none of that ever even happened."

Well I mean Dongkwan's character hasn't seemed to have changed much. Although she doesn't find Sunghoon as annoying anymore, I still feel like she's envious of him.

Speak of the devils, I see the two girls who left earlier to take their phone calls come back inside the cell.

"Jake you're next" The same female from earlier called out

"Well nice talking to you Sebin" Jake said taking his leave

The two girls gather the whole group including myself to a circle, hinting that they have important news

"They didn't answer" They both said simultaneously
