"Good morning Elizabeth!" My mum shouted as she rushed into my room.
"Elizabeth wake up it's 7am!"she said as she swung open my curtains.
The sun shone onto my eyes forcing me to open them. I sat up and looked around my room.Another day of yesterday. The days seem to be rewinding. I feel as if time is going backwards as the days drag.
"Elizabeth your room is so messy. How could you be so lazy" my mum said in disappointment. I rolled my eyes and replied
"Sorry I just" she cuts me off
"No excuses Elizabeth you're cleaning your room as soon as you get home" I stood up and walked downstairs to get some jam on toast.
Fun fact I can't eat toast unless it have jam on it.
"Good morning Elizabeth" my dad said as I sat down on the table
"Good morning dad" I replied
"Your going to have to walk to school today I have an important meeting at 8" I sighed as I put my plate in the sink and walked off.
I hated walking to school especially in the winter!
"Juliaaaa" I shouted as I met her at the gates of our school.
"Omg your early for once!" She said sarcastically.
Julia's my best friend. She's been there since day one! And when I say day one I ACTUALLY mean day one. Our mums were besties since they were 10 and they both got knocked up at the same time and they basically forced us to be friends since we came out the womb. I'm NOT complaining Julia's the most amazing friend anyone could ask for!
"So what's new! Have I missed anything over the weekend" Julia said as she grinned at me.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Oh come on Elizabeth you know what I'm on about! You know Jacob" she nudged my shoulder and giggled.
"JULIA don't say his name people might hear!"
"Oh stop no ones even around to hear" she replied as she linked my arm and headed into school.
It was dinner time and let me tell you the day was dragging! I never get dinner cause of the fear that people are looking at me and judging.
Julia saved me a seat on our table. Me and Julia didn't really have a 'friendship group' we liked to stay low-key. I took my seat next to her and slammed my head on the table.
"Oh don't be dramatic today isn't that bad" she said holding in her laugh.
"Hey Elizabeth!" I lifted my head and looked up at who was standing above me.
"Jacob? What's up?" I said struggling to spit my words out.
"Oh I was just wondering if you've done the English homework?" He replied
I turned to Julia and gave her THE look (as if to say WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!!!)
She grinned and then shoved her sandwich in her mouth.
"Erm ye actually why? Do you need to copy it? You can copy it if you want" I said as my face went red
"Ye" he said as I cut him off
"I mean it might not be right it's probably wrong but I mean it's better than nothing right haha" I said in panic. He gave me a weird stare then finally replied
"Yep it is better than nothing haha so have you got it or?"
"OH ye one sec let me find it" I took out my homework.My hand was SHAKING as he went to take it of me. His hand softly touched mine. He looked me in the eyes and smiled
"Thanks Elizabeth I'll get it back to you at the start of the lesson" I smiled and nodded as I couldn't get any words out. He walked off.
I turned to Julia
"OMG he touched my hand! HE TOUCHED MY HAND" I said as I shook her in excitement.
" oh Elizabeth. You've liked him for 3 years and you STILL can't talk to him without embarrassing yourself" she said as she opened her water bottle and shook her head in disappointment
"Well I can't talk to him without choking up. Like you'd do the same if you liked someone"
She giggled
"Just go talk to him Elizabeth what's the worst that could happen" she said. I looked her dead in the eye and laughed
"Your not being serious right? Hahahaha I could NEVER he's popular! He has all the girls after him so what do I have that's so special he'd pick me over all the popular pretty girls" she paused and stood up
"Your Unique" she said as she picked up her bag and walked off. A few seconds later the bell went.
I made my way to English and there stood at the door waiting for me was Jacob with my homework in his hand.
"There you go" he said as he passed me the homework
"Thank you" I replied.I looked down at the ground. He grinned as he looked down on me. He put his hand on my chin and lifted my head up. He moved his hand to the side of my cheek and tucked my hair behind my ear.
"You look pretty today Elizabeth" he said as he stared deep into my eyes. I smiled and watched him take his seat in the classroom.
