Upset

~Daichis pov~

Hinata ran off upset about Kageyamas words, I called Kageyama over "you should go apologize." I said sternly as Yamaguchi and Tsukishima came back "we cant find him, hes not anywhere." Tsukishima said as Yamaguchi had a panicked expression on his face, I looked at Suga who seemed to understand what I was asking "I'll go check the team rooms." He said walking off in a hurry. All of Karasuno and Hinatas friends were worried about Hinata, he has never acted like that even when Kageyama blew up at him or Tsukishima said he was short.

I sat against a wall and sighed 'what am I going to do... I love Hinata but I'm a 3rd year and hes a 1st year...' I thought mentally sighing, a little while later Suga came back with Hinata who's eyes were puffy and red. Kageyama tried to talk to him but Hinata just looked away, Yachi looked worried while her friend who's name we learned was Belle looked dead inside (who else can relate ;-;) "Hinata please talk to me, I'm sorry I didnt mean it!" Kageyama said trying to grab Hinata who just pulled away and went to the far side of the gym "give him time Kageyama..." I said what else could I say about all this?

~3rd pov~

Hinata kept scratching at his arms as if he had bug bites and he didnt look anyone in the eye even Kenma who desperately tried to reach the sunshine. "Hinata he didnt mean it." Iwaizumi said sitting next to him, at last Hinata glanced up to meet Iwaizumis eyes "sorry for how I acted..." was all Hinata said before getting up and going for a walk, Kageyama tried to talk to him but Iwaizumi stopped him "Daichi will go after him, it is his job as captain to help." Oikawa said appearing behind Iwaizumi Kageyama could only nod and go to sit down mumbling.

Daichi went after his crush quickly trying not to lose sight of the Ray of sunlight, he eventually caught up to Hinata and to stop him Daichi grabbing his arm and pulled him to him which startled the ginger but he relaxed in Daichis hold. He felt safe... like no one could hurt him not even his father. "He didnt mean it Hinata..." Daichi said quietly Hinata only stayed quiet as he stayed in the captains warm embrace. He was more than upset with what happened he knew it all to be true but his bestfriend who he had for the most part forgiven for cheating just told him he was useless to his team. "You arent useless to the team Hinata." Daichi said softly as he ran a hand through Hinatas hair both were blushing though neither could see the others face.

"But I cant receive well I can only hit..." hinata tried to argue but was hushed by Daichi petting him once more Daichi was not aware of what he was doing but it calmed the ginger spiker down. "You are perfect the way you are and the team understands why you cant receive, you were the only official member of your middle school team." Daichi said as Hinata looked up surprised he knew that "how did you know that?" Hinata asked as Daichi looked down at him "well I went to your match against Kageyama and it was obvious that the rest of the team was a put together of other people. Plus Suga told me about what you told him that you never had real teammates." Daichi said and Hinata just nodded "hey it's getting a little late let's to eat dinner before it's all gone." Daichi said as they both got up Hinata didnt want to eat but at the same time he didnt want to make anyone suspicious of him. "Hey guys!" Suga greeted from the Karasuno table and the two went over, Hinata only eating a small amount which no one questioned as he did have a breakdown from Kageyamas words so they felt it natural.

"Thank you..." Hinata said before finishing and going off to do whatever it was he was to do when others ignored him.
