The gentle grip he had upon the wooden branch in between his fingers and palm, on the other had a sharp dagger that could cut through anyone's skin and flesh; if desired to be of use in that purpose. Carving a piece upon the wood, as the fire ignited brightly that illuminated as his source light and the shining crescent moon that made everything much more serene than it should've been.

Tired snores, cramping bodies that piled up on each of his sides, with their eyes closed but still in tact with their special weapons - always prepared and aware for any possibilities that may occur. Two of his men were even wrapping themselves upon each other's embrace for warmth; he was aware of their blooming love however he had envied them of their profound ties and pure fondness, still he was ecstatic for the two happy individuals that came along in his unwanted journey.

His eyes trained on the only thing he found as entertainment while still being vigilant as ever with no time to even calm his mind. Exhaustion was creeping up on the poor fatigued General who didn't even get a blink an eye for a rest. He sacrificed his yearning drowsiness that consumed him, but he couldn't. It was his duty and he was trained hard, harshly to cope up with these desires. The night and cold wind that seeped through his thin fabric of clothing, whilst his armor rested near the pond that him and the other knight had cleaned. Making him shiver from the sudden chilliness of the midnight.

It had been a cycle for him, in these mere nearing a month of their voyage. The same happenings had been occurring, they had unfortunately haven't been able to encounter such measure to be a satisfaction for their greedy and cruel served king - just thinking about such consequences made the Commander heave out a breathy sigh, striking the dagger near the campfire, the wood piece he traced with his fingers delicately he made art from boredom but he hadn't realized the beauty of the meaning that came across linings.

The annexes that formed and surrounded the diamond shaped centre, correlating little arrows that faced in one direction, proportionally messy but the flaws of his design was the main piece of the chiseled timber. It made his lips twitch to form a tiny smile for a brief moment that no one had been able to witness nor capture such a rare things... nonetheless the thoughts and joy were pushed aside way too quickly for his own liking, still he didn't prevent it from slipping away he had just it drift absentmindedly.

Closing his eyes, as his head drops lowly for while as the thoughts from before he had left the kingdom lingered, the words made a thug at his heart, the hurtful orbs of his best friend that he has closest like a brother to him, his own majesty of the palace tine he served his whole life for, ever so unexpectedly. Frustrated of himself he had tossed the lumber somewhere he had no mind off - abruptly standing on his two feet, without much care and silence, as he did not want for his men to be awaken by his meaningless movements.
