Krist picked up the last toy and put it in the box, knowing exactly that as soon as his children woke up, it would be on the floor again. Raising three children felt a lot like a marathon sometimes. And he was losing.
He didn't have any work for the past few days, which was a good thing because P'Sing had back-to-back jobs. They needed someone to stay with the children and unfortunately, no one knows about them yet. Other than Krist's mom but neither of them wanted to bother her to babysit their kids.
Krist didn't want to let their kids to be raised by a nanny but they both had jobs with an unpredictable schedule, making it harder to take care of the children. They had been lucky that their schedules didn't clash since they got the kids but they would have an event together soon and they still had no idea of what to do with their children.
And then there were their parents.
Krist and P'Sing kept postponing on telling their families about their relationship and the kids. How do you tell your family that you decided to adopt not one but three children with your boyfriend that you just started dating?
They had agreed to keep the real origin of the kids a secret for their safety. However, that also meant that they needed a good reason to adopt three kids at once.
Krist still couldn't find a good enough reason.
He sighed and looked up at the clock. The kids would wake up in about an hour. Depending on whether P'Sing could finish his work early, he might come here first. If not, he would go back to his place. P'Jane was getting suspicious so P'Sing couldn't spend the night here anymore. So unfair.
Krist managed to feed the children without bloodshed even though the kitchen ended up resembling a battle zone. Krist had to alternate between Muffin and Pluto because even though Pluto could feed himself now, the food mostly ended up on him instead of in him. Krist was glad that at least Fiat was old enough to eat on his own. However, Krist had to stop his eldest from throwing food at his brother a couple of times.
Bedtime was a whole other story.
His beautiful and adorable children who were angels when they had both parents present during bedtime were demons when it was just Krist alone.
Muffin refused to sleep without hearing her Papa's voice and her brothers refused to sleep before their sister.
Krist was trying to lull Muffin to sleep in the living room, her brothers sitting on either side of him when P'Sing video called.
"Hi, my loves," P'Sing greeted tiredly and was answered by the sleepy cheer of "Papa!" from the boys.
"Pa!" Krist let Muffin sat on his lap facing the phone so she could see him.
"You look tired."
"A bit. I just got back home. I miss you guys. Kit, I don't think I could go there tonight."
"I understand. Don't worry about it, P'Sing."
"Da."
Krist looked down at her daughter when she put her hand on Krist's chin. "Yes, sweetheart?"
"No Pa?" She asked, pouting.
"Papa is tired, sweetie. You can see him there." Krist pointed Muffin towards the phone. He gave a sign for P'Sing to smile when he saw the sad face he was making in front of their daughter.
"I can't do this."
Krist heard P'Sing said that before he cut off the video call. Krist blinked.
"Pa!"
"What? Did he hang up on me again? Children, your Papa is developing a bad habit. Don't take after him." Krist rocked Muffin in his arms when she started whining. He closed his eyes in resignation. She had passed the point where she was too tired to sleep. This would be a long night. At least the boys had fallen asleep leaning against him while talking to their Papa.
Krist heard the door opened and P'Sing appeared, pulling large luggage behind him.
"What the hell..."
"I'm moving in," P'Sing stated, picking up Muffin and kissing her forehead.
"You- you can't just move in like that. You should at least ask me first," Krist spluttered.
"May I moved in with my lovely family, Khun Krist?" P'Sing asked sweetly.
"Yes, Khun Singto," Krist sighed. "What about P'Jane? And the company?"
"I don't care. It's not like they can stop me." P'Sing grinned.
God. This was the side of P'Sing that Krist fell in love with. The I-don't-give-a-fuck side. He had curbed that tendency when he started working but Krist had seen this back in university.
This P'Sing was hot.
And also a troublemaker.
People would assume that P'Sing was the mature one in their relationship. Ninety per cent of the time, they would be right.
But P'Sing also had his what-the-fuck moments where he did whatever he wanted, damn the consequences. This was one of those moments.
"Let's put them to bed." Krist picked up both Pluto and Fiat, noticing that Muffin was already asleep in P'Sing's arms. Biased!
"In a rush, Kit?" P'Sing raised an eyebrow.
That tease! He knew exactly what that did to Krist.
"We're celebrating you moving in. Get moving before these cockblockers woke up."
P'Sing laughed but Krist was secure in the knowledge that P'Sing was following him anyway. And if he was swaying his ass more than necessary, only P'Sing would know.
It was a rare day when neither of them had any schedule and Krist was planning to take full advantage of it. Without opening his eyes, Krist rolled over to P'Sing's side of the bed. And rolled right onto the floor.
"Fuuuck..." Krist stood up, rubbing his butt sullenly. "Where the hell is P'Sing?"
He found P'Sing frantically tidying up the living room after checking on the children.
"What are you doing this early? Come back to bed," Krist said, leaning against the wall in his sexy pose. Sadly, P'Sing didn't even look at him to appreciate his seducing attempt.
"Are you crazy? We only have six more hours before our parents come here. And this house looks like a bomb exploded in it."
Ah. Krist remembered now.
After P'Sing moved in, they had decided to finally inform their parents about their relationship and the kids. It would be harder to hide the fact that they were living together now and it would be best if their parents heard it from them instead of the news.
Krist only forgot that it was today.
"They're our parents. I'm pretty sure that they already know how messy we are," Krist commented, watching P'Sing collecting all the toys strewn around the room.
"Yeah. But we have kids now. We should at least attempt to act like adults."
"Oh. We did a lot of adults stuff last night."
P'Sing only rolled his eyes when Krist winked at him. But Krist saw the smile he was trying to hide.
"Calm down." Krist enveloped P'Sing in his arms and felt the elder slowly relaxed.
"I just want everything to be good."
"It will. My parents already like you. Your dad already like me..."
"Confident, aren't you?" P'Sing teased and Krist slapped his butt playfully.
"Behave."
"You can't tell me to behave right after you slapped my ass," P'Sing gasped dramatically.
"I'll do what I want." Krist grinned and pecked P'Sing's lips.
"I love you."
"I love you too. Now come back to bed so I can show you how much I love you.
