Y/N'S POV

I look at my daughter, sitting on my bed cuddled up with her watching the new SpongeBob movie on mine and Izuku's T.V. She was smiling, something I haven't seen her do in a while. A little over a month ago, her father and I received news that she was quirk less. Which we sadly figured would be happening since I was also quirk less, and her father was too, until All Might gave Izu his power. But aside that.

Akari was devastated.

She wanted a quirk and wanted to be a hero like her daddy. But she lost hope on that dream since we were told.

I smile at her, happy to see she was becoming her cheerful self again.

"Akari, do you like the movie?" I ask quietly, rubbing the 5-year old's back soothingly. "We can watch one more when Papa gets home, ok?" I say leaning down and kissing her forehead.

She nods and yawns, happy to know that her Papa is coming home today and will be on vacation with us for two weeks.

I look over at the alarm clock. 10:35 Friday, June 17th.

"Ok, I'm going to put the movie back in its case and shut off the tv for a bit ok pumpkin?" I say, standing up and turn off the tv screen, putting the move in it's case.

"Mommy whe-" Akari started, but was cut off by glass shattering.

I stop what I'm doing wide eyed, looking back at my daughter, touching my finger to my lips signaling her to be quiet.

I turn back around and poke my head out my slightly ajar bedroom door, to hear what's going on down the stairs.

I here two men arguing about something, and I catch I glimpse of them from the hallway leading downstairs. Both are wearing black masks and bags. And something shiny in their opposite hands.

Guns.

I quickly but quietly rush back to my room, seeing Akari shaking and holding the blanket up around her, poking her eyes above to look at me.

I grab my phone and motion for her to come to me quickly, and pick her up carrying her to my walk in closet.

I shut the door quietly and take Akari to the farthest end of the closet, setting her underneath the small shelf and sitting in front of her and hold her hand, turning on my phone scrolling through my contacts until I hit Izuku's number.

IZUKU'S POV

"Finally..." I sigh as I finish the last of my paperwork and walk out my office.

I just can't wait to see my little Akari and my beautiful wife.

I walk outside, getting in my car and start the engine, beginning my normal 10 minute journey home from the agency.

About 2 minutes on the road my phone rings to Bruno Mars 'I Think I Wanna Marry You', signaling my wife Y/N is calling.

Weird. She doesn't go on her phone past 8 unless it's for emergencies.

I answer the call and put it on speaker. "Hey baby! I'm on my way home now something-" I'm cut off my Y/N's voice.

"Izu, people broke in the house." She whispers. I can hear the faint sniffles of Akari in the backround. My protective instinct kicks in and I speed up, going 10 miles over the limit.

"I'm on my way. Are you and Akari in a safe place?" I ask, worry in my voice as I turn off the highway, going into town heading home.

"We are in my closet and yes we are safe. But Izu, I don't know if-"

"Is someone in there?" I hear a gruff man's voice yell from the other line.

"Y/N, are you ok?" I get panicky, speeding up as I hear shuffling. "Baby?"

"Sorry, but your precious little wife and daughter can't come to the phone right now." The same voice states, and ends the call. I speed up the car going almost 80.

"SH*T!" I yell.

Y/N's POV

The male shoved us out the closet, I grab Akari and set her behind me, as I get in front of her in a protective stance so they don't hit her.

"What do you want." I ask the said male, the other male still grabbing things from downstairs.

"Well, well, I see we have a much better prize than stupid house junk. The number one heroes family huh? I mean, I may just take my prize now." The male slowly walks over and lifts my head up with his thumb and idex finger, getting closer to my face. I spit in his eye and kick him back, sending him tumbling backwards as I push Akari back more protectively.

"B*tch....your going to pay for that." He stands up and brings out his gun pointing it at me. He shoots and I scream out in pain, still having Akari behind me to protect her. I will die for my daughter. I just need to wait a little longer before Izu gets here. "Oops I missed."

I look down seeing my thigh bleeding excessively.

"Lemme try bettering my aim." He says.

He walks up and Akari beginning sobbing and paralyzed in fear behind me, as the male put the ice cold metal barrel to my forehead.

"Any last words?" The male seethes, pulling off the safety and resting his finger over the trigger.

"Rot. In. Hell." I spit glaring in his eyes.

"Heh. Clever choice." He chuckles. He is about to pull a trigger when we hear a large crash from downstairs, yelling and someone screaming.

Out of no where, the door breaks down and green lightening barrels in, at lightening fast speed, kicking the villian into the wall across from me and Akari, knocking him out and the gun on the floor.

I let out a breathe I never had, still in shock and trying to figure out who now is in my house.

"DADDY!" Akari yells, still crying and tapping my shoulder pointing me to the said male.

"Oh thank god are you guys ok?" Izuku rushes over, grabbing me and Akari into a hug as if he's never letting go.

I grab onto Izu and Akari, thanking the lord he made it on time. "Oh thank god...." I whisper, crying into Izuku's shoulder. He pulls away, accidentally leaning on my hurt bullet wound. I hiss in pain, gripping his shoulder.

"Baby are you okay?" He asks, then looks down at the blood-stained wound. "Oh no....we got to get you to the hospital. C'mon Akari, hop on my back. I gotta get you two to the ER. I already called Kachan for backup, he will be able to catch those two..." He hoists Akari up, and then helps me stand up on my legs, ripping my waist to hold me steady.

I look over at my husband, with love in my eyes. He looks back and gives me a loving kiss on the lips.

"I love you guys." Izuku whispers, walking us to the car.

"I love you too. "I say kissing his cheek.

"Love you to Papa. You're my hero!" Akari states.

Bonus:

"Crap, we gotta pay to fix our wall and downstairs now..." Izuku states, realizing he destroyed his house. He looks over at his wife glaring at him.

"Heh.... Love you...."

(A/n) I know I havent.updated appt, but thats because um...well... I was failing many classes in.school and.i needed to catch up. Now that a new semester.is starting, i can get back on track.
