 I woke up from my alarm, remembering i have to get up. I climbed out of bed and brushed my teeth, I heard  Molly Weasley yell up the stairs to be down at 7:30, it was almost 7:00. I jumped into the shower, washing my body, rinsing my hair with warm water. I  hopped out the shower and put on the towel waiting for me. I dried my body, throwing on my uniform.

I stumbled out of my room, running down the stairs. I sat down at the table with Molly greeting me.

"Hey y/n! Are you hungry dear?" She asked.

"Yes! May i have some pancakes?" She nodded. I started joking around with the twins and Ron, I was nudging Ron, pissing him off. We all laughed, Ron was in a bad mood, we didn't know why, but we didn't dare to ask. 

Shortly after, Molly walked over and handed me a plate of pancakes, finishing them quickly. It was the start of 3rd year, Ginny told me a new girl joined, i think her name was Luna.

"Grab your things kids, we're leaving in 5," Molly said.

I ran upstairs to get my owl and my things. I ran outside, getting in the car to get to the train station.

We were shortly there, we grabbed our things and quickly ran through the wall to get to platform 9 3/4. Quickly, we all got on the train, i started looking for the new girl. I looked in all of the different rooms. Soon enough, I found her, I knocked on the door and asked to sit.

"S-sure.. I'm Luna, I'm new here," She stuttered.

"Hey! I'm y/n! I've been here for 2 years! Do you wanna be friends?" I asked, she was so pretty, she smelt of lavender and a new newspaper. She quickly agreed and stared at me.

"You look very pretty, y/n" She muttered whilst smiling.

"Thank you Luna, your very pretty too!" I mumbled starting to blush.

We continued talking about our pasts, having some fun.

"Stop hitting me Y/N!" She said giggling whilst pushing me back. Her laugh was perfect. I felt something, a feeling, something I've never felt before. I felt...Love...

I knew she was perfect for me, I knew i liked girls. I cant tell her though, what if she hates me?

Shortly after we chatted for a long time, the train stopped. Me and Luna got off the train and walked to George and Fred.

"Got yourself a girlfriend y/n?" Fred said smirking.

"Oh shut up Freddie, she's just a friend!" I yapped.

I didn't tell Luna i was lesbian, all of my other friends knew.

"Sorry Luna, I forgot to tell you,  I'm lesbian.." I whispered to Luna. I was shaking whilst telling her.

"It's ok y/n! I'm Bi," She said smiling at me. My frown rapidly turned into a smile. I thought she'd hate me. Although ,I'm happy she reacted like that. Soon enough, we arrived at Hogwarts.

"Professor Dumbledore, may Luna Lovegood share a dorm with me? I don't have a roommate yet," I asked.

"Sure Y/n, show her to her dorm," he replied.

I quickly showed her to our dorm, my smile as tall as the sky. I was very happy i got to share a dorm with her. I showed her what classes she had tomorrow, as we didn't have any more lessons. We got in bed and fell asleep.

A WEEK LATER

I woke up by a professor knocking on my door, they do that to wake us up. I looked around, seeing Luna fast asleep, she looked so pretty, i just stared at her. I walked over to her, shaking her awake. She woke up, looking up at me. She smelt of lavender still, it was an amazing smell. She got up and went to the bathroom. I quickly got dressed and went in after her. She was brushing her teeth so i started brushing mine. We were awkwardly staring at each other until we bursted out laughing.

"Why are you staring at me y/n!" She said giggling.

"Because your looking at me!" I said laughing super hard.

We kept giggling until we went out and she got changed. I grabbed my stuff, and we started walking to the great hall. Dumbledore introduced Luna and i saw Neville blushing, I need to keep and eye on him, I don't want him dating Luna. 

I took Luna to her classes, first we had potions with Professor Snape. We walked in, right on time. This girl I've never seen before came in late.

"Why...are you late Miss h/l/n? You're exactly... 43 seconds late," He said in a stern voice

"Detention at 5:00pm sharp...and don't be late or you'll regret it.."

Her face turned red. We began writing the recipe to amortentia, everyone finished it and Snape began to make the potion.

We all began to make a line to smell the amortentia, I was first in line since Snape liked me.

"Okay students, all you have to do is sniff and say what you smell, for example. I smell, vanilla and daises." Snape enounced.

Right after, I started smelling the potion. 

"I smell, Lavender and... Newspapers," I muttered. I heard some whisperings but ignored them. After everyone had ago, it was Luna's turn, she was so kind and let everyone else be first.

"I smell...lilies and coconuts," She said.

As soon as lesson ended, I ran to ask Hermione what I smelt like.

"Why y/n? whatever.. you smell of lilies and coconuts, now tell me why!" Hermione declared.

"Ok fine, I like Luna, she said she smelt lilies and coconuts in her amortentia," I mentioned.

Hermione was happy for me, she said she would try and get us together. I was very happy, I knew i loved Luna, She was the one for me, and there was nothing that would change that.
