Jasayla woke up the next day feeling stranger than usual. She looked beside her to see Muzan watching her. She smiled.
"Good morning." She said.
"Good morning darling, how are you feeling?"
"I feel.. a little off, but maybe I'm just tired." She yawned.
She reached for the half-empty water bottle and drank the rest of it. She coughed harshly once finishing. She closed her hazel eyes and rubbed them tiredly. Upon opening them, she noticed Muzans eyes widen and his lips form a smirk. She raised an eyebrow.
"What?" She smiled, blushing a bit.
"Your eyes are beautiful." He said as he placed a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.
Confused, she looked at the small mirror that was in the room. Her eyes widened at her new eye color. It was a beautiful shade of red, similar to Muzans eyes. Her jaw soon dropped to reveal small fangs appearing. She soon realized what was happening to her.
"Tsukihiko, what was in the water you gave me?" She said turning to look at him worriedly, her brows furrowed.
He flashed her a smile. "I think it's time you know."
They sat down as Muzan informed her about everything. About him, his demons, and his eventual goal. Jasayla, although clearly conflicted, remained calm.
"Am I a demon now then?"
"A half-blood more accurately. You have the powers of a demon, but you my love, are able to hide your demon scent and eyes. You, are special. Being only a half-demon, should be able to go under sunlight with no harm at all."
Since she took the blood with water instead of directly, she wasn't a true demon.
After a few moments of silence, Muzan noticed her mind was overflowing with concerns.
"Remember our talk on our date? About demons? You can finally help those who need an escape from their families."
A small smile crept on her face when she thought about that. Noticing, she shook her head.
"No! There's no way I could betray everything I've worked for. And you! You've been a demon this whole time? Not only that, but the demon who created all demons. My job is to kill you! And you've known this whole time." She said furiously.
Muzan tilted his head back, looking down at Jasayla, his red eyes glowing. He furrowed his brow as he stared at her.
"You don't appreciate what I've done for you? Now, not only can you take out bad demons like before, you can also take out bad humans who do other wrong. What's wrong about that? As for myself, yes I did know. But I want you to join me. We can take out the bad people together. No one will have to suffer like you did ever again."
Jasayla thought in silence, Muzan of course, was reading her mind.
'Is this a good thing? No! It can't be, I can't hurt a person. But I could help other children from bad homes.. No! I can't be thinking like that..' Jasayla argued with herself. 'But.. this way.. I can help everyone..'
She looked up and made eye contact with him. She then sighed.
"It'll take a lot of adjusting.. but I think I can work with the idea."
He smiled. "I'm glad you changed your mind."
"I have to leave to meet up with the others, but we will be together again soon."
Jasayla, kissed Muzan on the cheek and left the room. She blinked and her hazel eyes returned once more. She saw Obanai and Rengoku near the entrance, ready to sneak her out. Obanai looked angry, while Rengoku was as jolly as ever. Obanai, noticing her shivering due to her outfit, placed his haori over her shoulders. She slid it on and smiled at him, him returning one. The trio made their way back from their successful mission.
