The‌ ‌morning‌ ‌light‌ ‌shined‌ ‌lightly‌ ‌through‌ ‌the‌ ‌pink‌ ‌curtains‌ ‌that‌ ‌covered‌ ‌Isabelle's‌ ‌window.‌ ‌Still,‌ ‌the‌ ‌morning‌ ‌had‌ ‌awoken‌ ‌the‌ ‌young‌ ‌girl,‌ ‌who‌ ‌was‌ ‌ready‌ ‌to‌ ‌start‌ ‌the‌ ‌day.‌ ‌She‌ ‌jumped‌ ‌out‌ ‌of‌ ‌her‌ ‌bed‌ ‌and‌ ‌immediately‌ ‌got‌ ‌dressed.‌ ‌She‌ ‌always‌ ‌dressed‌ ‌up‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌same‌ ‌look,‌ ‌even‌ ‌if‌ ‌it‌ ‌was‌ ‌different‌ ‌colors.‌ ‌She‌ ‌wore‌ ‌a‌ ‌pink‌ ‌t-shirt‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌kitten‌ ‌and‌ ‌over‌ ‌that‌ ‌was‌ ‌blue‌ ‌overalls.‌ ‌The‌ ‌shiny‌ ‌bronze‌ ‌buttons‌ ‌that‌ ‌held‌ ‌the‌ ‌overalls‌ ‌together‌ ‌glistened‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌sunshine‌ ‌that‌ ‌was‌ ‌being‌ ‌filtered‌ ‌through‌ ‌the‌ ‌curtains.‌ ‌She‌ ‌was‌ ‌finally‌ ‌awake‌ ‌enough‌ ‌to‌ ‌move‌ ‌the‌ ‌curtains.‌ ‌She‌ ‌threw‌ ‌the‌ ‌thin‌ ‌curtains‌ ‌aside‌ ‌as‌ ‌the‌ ‌sunlight‌ ‌spread‌ ‌into‌ ‌the‌ ‌room,‌ ‌revealing‌ ‌everything‌ ‌in‌ ‌it.‌ ‌A‌ ‌bright‌ ‌white‌ ‌smile‌ ‌stretched‌ ‌across‌ ‌the‌ ‌girl's‌ ‌face.‌ ‌A‌ ‌small‌ ‌curl‌ ‌of‌ ‌brown‌ ‌hair‌ ‌fell‌ ‌in‌ ‌front‌ ‌of‌ ‌young‌ ‌Isabelle's‌ ‌eyes.‌ ‌She‌ ‌blew‌ ‌it‌ ‌up‌ ‌and‌ ‌walked‌ ‌away‌ ‌from‌ ‌the‌ ‌window‌ ‌and‌ ‌headed‌ ‌towards‌ ‌the‌ ‌kitchen.‌ ‌She‌ ‌was‌ ‌ready‌ ‌for‌ ‌another‌ ‌fun-filled‌ ‌day‌ ‌with‌ ‌her‌ ‌mom.‌ ‌She‌ ‌didn't‌ ‌know‌ ‌why‌ ‌she‌ ‌couldn't‌ ‌be‌ ‌with‌ ‌her‌ ‌dad,‌ ‌but‌ ‌her‌ ‌mom‌ ‌always‌ ‌made‌ ‌sure‌ ‌that‌ ‌they‌ ‌had‌ ‌a‌ ‌good‌ ‌day‌ ‌without‌ ‌him.‌ ‌ ‌

 ‌"Izzy,‌ ‌are‌ ‌you‌ ‌ready‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌planetarium?"‌ ‌

‌"Yeah‌ ‌, mommy!"‌ ‌

 ‌Today‌ ‌was‌ ‌going‌ ‌to‌ ‌be‌ ‌the‌ ‌best‌ ‌one‌ ‌so‌ ‌far‌ ‌since‌ ‌her‌ ‌dad‌ ‌was‌ ‌gone.‌ ‌Her‌ ‌birthday‌ ‌was‌ ‌today‌ ‌and‌ ‌her‌ ‌favorite‌ ‌thing‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌world‌ ‌was‌ ‌the‌ ‌stars.‌ ‌She‌ ‌was‌ ‌fascinated‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌shimmering‌ ‌lights‌ ‌above‌ ‌her‌ ‌head.‌ ‌One‌ ‌day,‌ ‌she‌ ‌was‌ ‌going‌ ‌to‌ ‌reach‌ ‌those‌ ‌stars‌ ‌instead‌ ‌of‌ ‌just‌ ‌watching‌ ‌them,‌ ‌but‌ ‌today‌ ‌wasn't‌ ‌that‌ ‌day.‌ ‌

‌ ‌"Well,‌ ‌you‌ ‌better‌ ‌hurry‌ ‌up!‌ ‌We‌ ‌still‌ ‌have‌ ‌to‌ ‌pick‌ ‌up‌ ‌Thomas."‌ ‌

 ‌Thomas‌ ‌was‌ ‌Izzy's‌ ‌best‌ ‌friend.‌ ‌He‌ ‌shared‌ ‌the‌ ‌same‌ ‌interest‌ ‌she‌ ‌had‌ ‌with‌ ‌space.‌ ‌If‌ ‌it‌ ‌wasn't‌ ‌for‌ ‌him,‌ ‌she‌ ‌may‌ ‌have‌ ‌moved‌ ‌on‌ ‌to‌ ‌something‌ ‌girly‌ ‌like‌ ‌dolls.‌ ‌Izzy‌ ‌wasn't‌ ‌a‌ ‌big‌ ‌fan‌ ‌of‌ ‌dolls,‌ ‌but‌ ‌maybe‌ ‌she‌ ‌would‌ ‌be‌ ‌if‌ ‌she‌ ‌didn't‌ ‌know‌ ‌Thomas.‌ ‌Izzy‌ ‌galloped‌ ‌towards‌ ‌the‌ ‌kitchen‌ ‌where‌ ‌her‌ ‌mom‌ ‌was‌ ‌preparing‌ ‌breakfast.‌ ‌ ‌

 ‌"Well‌ ‌don't‌ ‌you‌ ‌look‌ ‌happy!"‌

‌ ‌"I‌ ‌want‌ ‌to‌ ‌see‌ ‌the‌ ‌stars‌ ‌mommy!‌ ‌Can't‌ ‌we‌ ‌go‌ ‌now?"‌ ‌

 ‌"I‌ ‌guess‌ ‌we‌ ‌can,‌ ‌but‌ ‌then‌ ‌you‌ ‌would‌ ‌miss‌ ‌out‌ ‌on‌ ‌some‌ ‌chocolate‌ ‌chip‌ ‌pancakes..."‌ ‌ ‌
