I woke up on a Saturday morning to Trumpets playing. No, I don't mean actual trumpets, I mean the song. I lazily rolled over and turned off my alarm. I lied there in my bed for a minute before I decided to start my day off with a shower. I drowsily picked out my outfit for the day and turned the hot water. Once the water was just right, I hopped in.

I was swinging back and forth on the porch swing in front of my gigantic house. I was munching on some captain crunch cereal when I received a text grime my bet friend Olivar. We've been best friends since I can remember. I read
'Hey chickie! Wanna Han out today? We could go to the skate park and maybe catch a movie with some of the guys. Wanna come?'I smiled and took another bite of my cereal.
'Sure! What time do ya want me to be ready? And who all is going with us?'
I set my phone down beside me and continued eating. I was listening to my favorite song 'I'll Be' by Edwin McCain. I swayed on the swing along with the music as I hummed the lyrics softly.
I'll be your crying shoulder.
I'll be love suicide.
I'll be better when I'm older.
I'll be the greatest fan of your life.
I was enjoying the song until my phone vibrated in my lap. Alerting me of a message. I read
'Be ready by 12:00. You don't know them, they're some of my older friends from when I lived in Texas. Don't worry about it.'I gave him a simple reply saying okay before I headed upstairs to get ready. It was already 10:30.

I examined myself in my full body mirror, skimming over my every feature. I was wearing some ripped dark denim skinny jeans with a white v-neck crop top that said
'Black Veil Brides'
in black writing. I paired that with some white converses and some Black Veil Brides brackets. I grabbed my skate board and headed out the door, grabbing my phone on the way.I raced outside to see Olivar and his friends patiently waiting in my long driveway. We were walking, well they were waking because I had my skate board. The skate park was only a little ways down. The movies was a little farther but we'll survive.

I rode through the skate park on my skate board and dodged many people. My long, dark brown hair was flowing behind me as I received many stares from people.Let's just say I'm known for being the towns 'bad girl on the lose'.
Olivar was more of the good boy. He always had his work done, never late for a thing, payed attention in class, never skipped school, and all that's stuff. But this didn't seem to affect out friendship. We always had eachother a back and we knew that.
I stopped my skate board in front of the half pipe where Olivar's friend Alex was now riding. I cheered him on loudly as I pumped my fist for encouragement. He rocked that thing. Olivar's walked up to me and casually wrapped his arm around my neck. I slung my arm across his back.
We continued cheering on Alex, earring new stares. This didn't bother me at all but I felt Olivar tense at all the attention. He became more quiet as I did too.
Another one of Olivar's friends Chase rapped his arm around my hip as I slung my arm across his back as I was doing to Olivar.
Once Alex was finished with his tricked I ran up to him and engulfed him in a huge hug. He immediately hugged me back tightly.
"That was amazing!" I told him. He chuckled and nodded. "Thanks." "No problem." I smiled.
"Dude. I think I'm in love." Chase blurted. We all looked at him in surprise. The other boys busted into a fit of laughter while I just smiled like a complete idiot. "That's amazing!" I told him. The boys laughter faded as they wiped tears from their eyes.
"W-what?" Alex asked trying not to laugh any more. "You heard me." Chase mumbled as his cheeks heated up. I could see a faint pink overcome his tan cheeks. Alex laughed.
"Love is nothing." he stated.
My mouth gaped at his words. "Love isn't just anything, it's an amazing emotion." I replied.
He stared at me blankly before laughing as hard as he could once more.
Great.
