Chapter 1: MONTHSARY

Jane was very excited upon waking up this morning. She rush immediately into the washroom just to fix herself. A big smile plastered on her face while thinking that this day will be their 38th monthsary of her long time boyfriend Jayson. They've been through a lot of ups and down in their relationship, until now they stay unyielding. They already finished studying and now they have their own job, Jayson is a cop and assigned to the southern part of the province while Jane is a travel agent. The two agreed to meet this day Feb. 1, 2021 in their most awaited monthsary. Suddenly Jane's cellphone rings 3 times, she immediately pick it up hoping to hear the cold voice of her boyfriend. She was holding the box of a couple bracelet she bought last week because she plan to give it to Jayson today as present.

"Hello? Is this Jane?" She feels that the one talking is not absolutely his boyfriend. She remained silent.

"You're might be wondering why Jayson didn't speak, If you want to have a chance to see your boyfriend alive, just go to the address I will send to you, remember only you, don't hesitate to call for help or else." The excitement melts and turns into petrified, Jane's knee become frail and she feels that her whole body is shaking.

All on her mind now is to save Jayson, Jane can't afford to lost the man who treats her as an angel, a friend and a best companion , she was very eager to come to the place the stranger texted, She was so perplexed thinking what to do she can't even tell the situation to Jayson's parents and eventually can't report to the police.

She was crying because she didn't know what to do, Until she come up with a plan.

She was so desperate to check the old pistol of her late father on its closet luckily it's still workable, she bring it with herself to the place. Only in a 45 minutes, she was now standing in front of an abandoned apartment. Jane take a deep breath before letting her feet towards the place. The apartment was desolate and dark, she was no idea where that man hiding. Jane was alone, all on her is the spirit of saving Jayson no matter what happen she want to see the man she truly love , the man who comforts her when she's in distressed , the man who make her laugh in times that she was miserable.

"Hell-o?" Jane broke her voice while saying the word. " I'm alre--ady here, wh-ere are you?"

She can feel now that her tears starts to escape from her eyes, she was trying to be strong for Jayson. She just think that this situation is just a perilous nightmare that would eventually disappear after waking up.

"Jay-son?"

Jane take a single step and now she can view a silhouette of a man who was tied in a pole. The guy was bathed in his own blood, his face and body was full of wounds and cuts, obviously he was so weak. It takes a moment when Jane realizes that the man was her boyfriend.

Jane immediately ran towards Jayson that was so frail, she was pleading for help but no one even answer. She was crying in front of her tortured boyfriend.

"Jays-on, wake up, JAYSSSOONN" the guy is closing his eyes, his body is no longer moving." Jayson please don't joke like this, Jaysoooonn" she was shaking Jayson's body but no matter hard she do it still no use. Jayson is not breathing.

"Jayson, remember last week you just said that you would like to marry me right?" Jane is still hoping that she would get a response,

"Jayson,I love you, I will marry you JAYSON I WILL MARRY YOU" she was crying while hugging the body of Jayson, all of her plans were gone, the man she loved was gone.

While hugging , she felt that the body is Shaking, she was stunned and she didn't expect what happen next.

"HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA, YOU LOOK SO COOL AND I'M SO INLOVE WITH YOU JANE"

"YES JANE, I WILL MARRY YOU" the dead guy earlier stands and offers Jane a ring.
