    A.N. Okay, I hadn't intended to make this into an actual story, but due to BleedingJoyfully's request I thought that I should be nice and continue on. So...I hope I can meet your standards again ;-;

    Karkat sat in a hunched ball, his chin resting on his knee caps with his arms wrapped around them as he glared at the couple across from him. Gamzee leaned down, playfully biting Tavros's nose while the other giggled. "Honk," Gamzee told him.

    Karkat's heart twisted up painfully at the sight of them being all cute and cuddley together. Tavros was blushing and hiding his face in his hands. Probably from something that Gamzee had said, no doubt. Karkat let out a small sigh, wishing that he hadn't agreed to come along. Gamzee had offered him the invitation, saying that Tavros never minded, and because Karkat was desperate to spend as much time around Gamzee as he could, he didn't even think twice about it.

    He was such an idiot. Standing, he dusted off the back of his jeans, turning to the cutesy pair he said, "Hey, I think I'm gonna go and see who I can talk to. Maybe bug Dave or Sollux into playing a video game with me." Gamzee and Tavros looked disappointed.

    "Are you sure? You could uh, stay if you want. We don't mind," Tavros tried to reassure. Frowning a little bit, Karkat couldn't help the thought of 'Well I do' from passing through his mind briefly. "Yea bro, you don't need to up and motherfukin' go," Gamzee chimed in. There was desire to give in and stay just because Gamzee had basically asked to.

    No, he didn't want to stay any longer than what was painfully necessary. "Naw, it's okay, I'm just gonna go, see you around." He didn't even bother to wait for them to give him their farewells and just turned on his heel, quickly pacing away.

    Where was he gonna go? The Sollux and Dave excuse he used didn't honestly sound all too amusing. Terezi was hanging out with Kanaya, Vriska, and Feferi. Eridan hated him. Shrugging, he figured to drop by Nepeta's hive. She was bubbley enough to get his mind off of his current frustration, so why not?

    As he approached her hive, he suddenly remembered Equius. Sometimes Nepeta had him over, and if he was there then Karkat didn't want to interrupt. It'd be rude. Nonetheless, that didn't stop hin from knocking. There was a few moments of silence, began to feel awkward standing outside of the cave-hive. Maybe she wasn't home, out hunting with her Lusus? Right as he began to turn away, the door flew open, revealing the very tiny girl in the doorway, blinking up at him with wide, confused eyes. "Hey Nep, I was wondering if it was okay if we hung out?" Karkat said, hoping that she'd say yes.

    Nepeta's green eyes glimmered, a grin spreading instantly as she widened the door. "Of course! Come on in!"
