As the next day rolls around Chloe finds herself sat at the island at her old apartment while Jesse and Aubrey are out. She thought back to her and Beca's conversation about kids and smiled to herself. She couldn't wait to have a family with Beca. She then decided to call her mom.
"Chloe dear how are you?" Her mother asks.
"I'm good mom how about you?" Chloe answers.
"I'm great. Can I ask why you called?" Her mother asks.
"I wanted to ask if there were twins in our family before my brothers." Chloe said.
"There's been twins in almost every generation on my side of the family. Why you ask?" She said.
"Well Beca and I had the talk about kids in the future and I really want to have twins at some point. I know there's a higher chance at twins if they run in the family." She answered.
"That's great honey" her mom answered.
They continued to catch up and talk about whatever they felt like. Chloe enjoyed speaking to her mother again. It had been a while since she moved to LA. She felt much better after the phone call with her mom.
Beca on the other hand was bored out of her mind. She and Stacie were driving to LA but since they had a uhaul and Stacie's car they weren't together. She had nobody to talk to and was slowly losing her mind.
She had thought about calling chloe but chose against it. She was humming along to any song that played on the radio. Driving to Los Angeles takes about two days and they've only been on the road for five hours. In three hours they will reach Ohio and stop for a food break.
"What can I do to keep myself entertained? That will also keep me alive?" Beca thought aloud.
She decided to call her brother.
"Hey Bec what's up?" He asked.
"Hey what are you up too?" She asked.
"Just watching some movies while chloe and Aubrey are out." He answered.
"Nice. Well would you want to live with Stacie?" She asked, deciding to skip small talk.
"Huh?" He asked.
"Well you probably know I left to New York because Stacie needed help." She began.
"Yeah."
"Well she decided she wants to move to LA to be by you me Aubrey and chloe. She needs a place to stay for a while so I didn't know if she could crash with you and Aubrey." Beca explained.
"Don't you have like three extra rooms in your house?" He asked.
"We do but chloe and I were looking forward to being able to have time alone with each other now that we have our own home. At least for a little bit. Also I love Stacie and all but I don't think I trust her enough to be in my new million dollar home without supervision. She'd definitely break something." Beca chuckled.
"I was really enjoying the thought of being alone with Aubrey and then chloe appeared." He said.
"Just for a month? Chloe and I would then get to experience living in our newly bought home together for a little while without being disturbed. If Stacie is still without a place in a month she'll move in with us and then you guys get to be alone. It'll be like we're divorced parents, just trading her back and forth." She suggested.
Jesse laughed on the other line, "sure we can divorce parent it. Aubrey and I can take her for a month and then you take her." He agreed.
"Sweet. Also don't tell the girls she's coming. Stacie wanted to surprise you all but I knew I had to get her living situation sorted." Beca told him.
"Yeah no problem." He agreed.
They talked for a bit longer before Aubrey and chloe returned home and they hung up.
Once Stacie and Beca finally made it home it was about five pm. They pulled up at Jesses apartment and headed up. Once they walked in Beca was immediately engulfed in a hug by her lovely redhead, Stacie being welcomed by the other two.
"I missed you." Chloe mumbled against her shoulder.
"I missed you too love." Beca smiled as she kissed the girls forehead.
"Well surprise. I'm here now." Stacie laughed.
"Oh yeah surprise." Beca commented.
"Where will I be staying?" Stacie asked.
"Oh Jesse and I spoke about that over the phone. Basically we're divorce parenting it. You'll be staying with Jesse and Aubrey for a month and then if you still need a home you'll live with chloe and I for a month." Beca explained.
"Why like that?" Stacie asked.
"Well chloe and I just bought a house and I really wanted to get to experience being new homeowners and living alone with Chlo so I asked Jesse to take you. He said he was looking forward to living alone with Aubrey since we moved out. So we made an agreement that they take you for a month and give chloe and I a chance to experience things on our own and then if you still need a place to stay after that month we'll take you so they can have a chance to live alone together. I'm sorry you girls didn't get much say but Stacie wanted to surprise you guys so I was only able to discuss it with one person." Beca explained.
"I mean I'm fine with it." Chloe says.
"Yeah me too." Aubrey agreed.
"Awesome." Jesse and Beca said together.
"Can we go experience our first night in our new home now?" Chloe asked Beca.
"Sure thing love." Beca smiled kissing her.
The two girls said their goodbyes and left the apartment. They made their way home, stopping to pick up their favorite takeout first.
They spent the rest of their night eating their dinner cuddled up on the couch watching movies. Both girls seemed very content with where they were and neither would trade it for the world.
"I love you red." Beca whispered.
Chloe smiled, "I love you too."
