I smile, looking at Ben by the door. I now see some gray hairs on his head and beard. His eyes look luminous, staring at me, although I can tell he is still going through his rough patch.

He then approaches me slowly, and with every step, I feel the tears wanting to come out of me. So many years and memories come to me as he approaches. I can feel once more his lips exploring my skin before reaching me, and his words of love approaching my ear.

He finally arrives next to me and kisses me on my cheek, without saying a word. I can smell his fragrance again, still captivating me as before, making me close my legs quite tightly. His beard tickles my face just like it did so long ago, and I cannot help but smile, remembering the many times his beard made me laugh and excite.

He then squats next to me, and we look at each other like old friends who have not seen each other since before time. I caress his beard without a thought in mind, and I softly stroke it, making his gray hairs glow in the light. It is as soft as I remember it, as if my fingers never forgot the man I once loved.

Ben just looks at me. He does not move at what I am doing to him, only smiling and sighing, as if he is also bringing back in his mind all we left behind. All the things that, even though stopped from happening, somehow never ended between us.

After one of his sighs, Ben grabs my hand and kisses my palm, to then close it down, reminding me not to let go of his kisses. He then stands up and, without stop looking at me, sits down opposite me. Ben does not say a word, and neither do I. We only stare at each other, smiling. Words are not necessary in our here and now.

Our smiles become more prominent over time, confessing through it the many thoughts and feelings we are experiencing at this moment. To me, it is unbelievable Ben is sitting with me after so much time, and so many things each one of us has been through. It is as if we reconnected from a previous life, one where we met but was not meant to be.

Ben's stare is so profound and sexy as it used to be, making me blush despite my age and experience, forcing me to look away, giggling like the little girl I once used to be with him. I somehow feel younger, as if only days passed since our last goodbye.

As I look outside, I see the cars and people passing by, living their lives, not noticing the reencounter of two lovers. I then feel a couple of warm hands, embracing mine, and asking me to join them on an adventure.

I cannot stop smiling. I am living old memories again and with Ben by my side. I am pretty sure what he is going to do, but I still give in. Two can play this game.

Ben pulls me out of the coffee shop, leading the way. Once on the street, he puts one of his hands on the lower part of my back, making me remember that first time I felt passionate about him.

"This time will be different," I say, as even though it is a bit cold, I decide to take his arm away from my back and fold it to place my hand on it.

As a gentleman, he makes no complaint, but he also sees I am up for the game. Ben deeply smiles as he has something prepared for me, something that will bring us many more memories than our reencounter.

This time, going to the exhibition is going to be even more interesting than last time.

Let us see what Ben has prepared for me.
