“I’m sorry I was just busy so I wasn’t able to visit you.” Martin said when he and Angel were talking in Angel’s restaurant.
“It’s okay. I understand you have obligations because of that deal.” Angel said.
Martin then holds Angel’s hand.
“Thank you for your understanding. But I promise you, when this deal ends, if you will let me, I will buy our own house, we’ll get married and have our own family.”
“What about Xavier? My father will not allow that.”
“You know I don’t care about that. I only care about you, us.”
After a few minutes, Xavier arrives at the restaurant and saw Angel and Xavier talking.
“Mr. Sebastian, what are you doing here? Are you bothering my girlfriend?” Xavier said.
“We are not doing anything wrong. We are just talking.” Martin said.
“Xavier, please don’t cause a scene.” Angel said.
“I don’t believe you.” Xavier said.
“Xavier! As I and Franc said, we are just talking. Franc is asking me to bake him a special cake for his friend’s birthday.”
“If that’s the case, who’s that friend of yours who is having a birthday?” Xavier said.
Martin then remembers Henry saying Venus’ birthday is coming up so he said, “It is actually none of your business but it is Venus. Her birthday is coming up and I want to give her a special cake.”
Xavier didn’t say anything for he realizes that Martin (for him Franc) is somewhat telling the truth. Venus’s birthday will be indeed in a few days.
“Angel, I better go ahead. If you need to verify something regarding on the cake, just call me.” Martin said then leaves.

“Be careful on the road okay?” Henry said as he loads Venus things in the car for Venus and Martin were going to this hotel casino in the province and Venus insisted that she will be the one driving going there.
“I will Henry. And as much I can take care of myself, Martin is coming with me so don’t worry. Take care of the house for me okay?” Venus said.
“Okay Ms. Venus.” Henry said.
“Martin! Let’s go.” Venus said as she gets inside the car.
“Bye Henry!” Martin said then gets inside the car.
As they were driving to their destination, Martin suddenly talks to Venus.
“I heard from Henry that your birthday is coming up.” Martin said.
“Yeah. I don’t actually celebrate my birthday. My birthday is just an ordinary day.” Venus said.
“Aren’t you supposed to celebrate it especially with your situation?”
“No. There was no use for it.”
Martin was supposed to say something but Venus said, “We’re here.”
They arrived in the hotel casino and went to the reception area.
“I called yesterday to reserve a suite. My name is Venus Steel.” Venus said to the receptionist.
“Ms. Steel, yes of course. Here’s the key. The suite is ready for you.” The receptionist said.
“A room? We’ll be staying in one room?” Martin said.
