(Narrator POV )
after all the legends were done resting up and recharging on the ship they had another match in Kings Canyon, and after the match a big event was going to happen. All of the legends were unsure what was going to happen some speculated a new legend others expected map changes some even thought of a new gun, but nobody knew for sure.
The teams for the match were selected Bloodhound was on a team with Wraith and Mirage
(Bloodhounds POV)
I am on a team with Mirage and Wraith this time, 
they get along well which is good. I very much dislike being on a team with people who have tension... i refuse to call it drama because that makes it rude especially considering Lobas past. I and loba are good friends at this time she is helping me with the...er fear of heights in exchange for me to do activities with her, such as shopping which is what we most commonly do. I don't really get things it's usually just me being her company. She pushes me out of my comfort zone often..it's nice. " We should land there." I watch as Wraith points to a place on the map. "Agreed."  "Loud n' clear."  We then jumped out of the drop ship.  Things like this I have no problem completing however on Olympus it's a lot higher and... hh.   We landed and began looting  I decided to scan to double check that no enemy's landed with us. "Scanning the area." I scanned. it doesn't look like anybody landed with us which is fortunate as all my loot consisted of was an arc star, wingman and a level one evo.
The beginning of the match was uneventful and our loot was mediocre . I took out my map and pinged a location,, the others saw.  "Might be something good this way." I said on our coms. " Copy that" they  replied.  And like that we were on the move. Once we were at the location I had pinged we found loot that wasn't entirely terrible. It was an upgrade from what we had before so I am thankful to the Allfather
"Wraith I thought you said that there would be good stuff where we originally landed."
Mirage said jokingly
" Well I didn't say that exactly." She replied
"Really? Then I must've heard wrong which is very uh.. un-likely-Unlikely!"
" What I said was " There might be something good this way" keyword might."
" That is true, I stand behind it."
They looked at me surprised.
I usually don't partake in small conversations I hardly talk during the games- I should converse more. There just looking at me... Wonderful job Bloth hoondr you ruined the conversation.
"Is something the matter?"
Wraith snapped her head back as if she was never looking. It was awkward to me, I dislike when people stare at me. It gives me the feeling of weakness. The silence went on for about a minute, I know that it didn't take long but to me it felt as if the silence went on for an eternity until it was cut through by mirage.
"No I'm just shook that you agree with her! Like What!? Comon' Bloody shes literally a inter-dimensional time traveler but she couldn't see that the loot there would suck?"
Wraith rolled her eyes. He just continued to talk normally as if I was always in the conversation and that this wasn't out of the ordinary,it was refreshing.
"You make a great point Eliott, let us settle this debate with a tie."
"Should've not even be been a debate in the first place, but what did I expect from Elliott."
Wraith poked fun at Mirage as he stuck his tongue out at her in a playful manor. "Okay enough goofing off,  We gotta do something."  Wraith decided to go look for people to battle which is understandable, yes it is pleasant to conversate however that's not what we're here to do.
There was a survey beacon not to far away, I decided it would be good to use it if we can't find anybody then we'll just make it to the ring first, there's definitely going to be people if we use that strategy.
I explained this to the others
" Hey hound can I go with you? Incase ya know somethings happens?"
" I do not mind, it's good to have extra cover. Wraith?"
I asked to see if she had any objections.
"Yeah go ahead, if anything happens to me while you guys are gone I'll portal out."
"Alright were off then!"
Mirage told wraith as me and him started to walk while wraith started to climb a hill to get a better view.
We started to lightly jog as we didn't want to waste time by walking. It was silent while we were jogging to the beacon although I wanted to talk I had nothing to say, I don't care very much for meaningless small talk unless I am gaining something like learning about the person I am speaking with or gaining knowledge about somebody else.
We had arrived at the survey beacon, I then started to use it. Other then the sound of the clanking from the beacon it was silent until mirage spoke.
"So, since when do to take part in conversation?"
I was focused on the beacon but I could just envision the catty smirk on his face as he said that.
"Since now I suppose."
I finished using the survey beacon and closed the beacons access point.
"I have found the next ring location check your maps."
I said into the coms as me and Mirage started to walk back.
"So what made you come out of your shell?"
I don't really have an answer to that..
"The Allfather blessed me with the ability to speak out...but I suppose I also wanted to prove you incorrect."
I smirked under my mask. He smiled, he looked happy to see me socializing, He then boasted.
"So your saying I was wrong? I thought somebody as smart as you would realize who was in the right of that argument."
He crossed his arms and dramatically closed his eyes, he then opened one eye slowly , looked at me to see my reaction but obviously...Well he couldn't. He then laughed,I'm not sure what he was laughing at but I came to believe it was himself.
"Heh, your great bloodhound, a real good friend."
I let out a small chuckle. I was lightly blushing under my mask
He is so pleasant. His smile is brighter than the sun, he is kind and sweet like honey
straight from the hive, his laugh is so rich, his voice soothing enough to make you turn your head by just hearing one word, and when you turn your head to see him... you get to see him, his beautiful completion, soft skin and soft lips.
Am I in love with Elliot Witt?
Is he the one the Allfather has made me fall for?
"Bloodhound-?"
I feel mirage poke my shoulder, I was lost is thought once again
"Ah, pardon i was distracted. Anyways, Thank you, I find you a great Companion as well."
I put down all my thoughts for the moment since we made it back to Wraith.
"Anything wraith?"
Mirage said as she slid down the hill.
" Nope."
She sighed.
"Well we better start moving to the ring then-"
I nod in agreement
I certainly have a lot of things to talk about to loba the next time we meet.
