Summary: Aaron's always been an... odd kid. He was always different from everyone else. But his life turned upside down when his parents sent him to an insane asylum at the age of 22. While he's in there, he meets a cute girl named Aphmau. At least he has her to keep him company, right?

The guards dragged Aaron into the main room with all the other patients as he screamed in fear. "Wait! No! Please, I'm not like them! Let me go..!" he cried out. One of the guards smirked. "You're not the only person who's said that." The guards left, shutting the door behind them, leaving Aaron shaking and crying in fear.

What he didn't know was that a black haired girl had been watching him from across the room. She decided to approach him. Aaron looked up when he hear footsteps, only to find a really cute girl smiling down at him. That was not what he was expecting.

The girl was quite adorable. She had long raven hair, honey colored eyes and smooth, sun-kissed skin. She was short and skinny, with an hourglass body. Probably a lot of guys' dream girl.

"Hi!" she smiled excitedly at him. It was obvious she was looking to make friends.

"Hey." he responded, smiling back.

Her smile grew wider. "I'm Aphmau! Do you wanna be my friend? I'm really lonely and the others are too lost in their own world to hang out with me. I don't even know why I'm here. I'm obviously not like them. And it seems you aren't either."

Aaron felt relieved to hear that he wasn't the only one who was falsely put inside that horrid place. "I'm Aaron and same. I have no idea why they brought me here. I didn't do anything crazy."

"I guess it'll be good to have each other's backs, huh?" Aphmau laughed.

And that was how they became friends.

After lunch, the nurses took all of the patients outside to the yard to get some fresh air. There were guardians surrounding the area to keep the patients from trying to run away.

One of the guards that had escorted Aaron earlier was there as well. She was surprised to see Aaron talking. 'Poor guy..' she thought.

In the mean time, Aaron was chatting away with his new friend, getting to know her. The longer the conversation was, the more fun Aaron realized he was having.

But nothing lasts forever.

Soon, dinner time came and they had to go back inside to eat food and take their medication, getting sent to their rooms which Aaron considered more like jail cells right after.

The nurses had already informed them that they'd be having roommates, Aaron knew that, but he wasn't expecting the pleasant surprise he got when we walked into his "room". There Aphmau was, sitting on the top bunk bed.
