SELF SABOTAGE WAS REALLY BECOMING a familiar topic to Paola, much to her dismay. The small woman just refused loosen her grip on the metaphorical knife stabbing her in the back, but she was not a masochist; oh no. She does not enjoy or take pride in stabbing herself in the back with said metaphorical knife, she does it to stop the brewing emotions from spewing out of her like the bullshit that spews out of her mouth. The warmth of compartmentalization that engulfed her whenever she swallowed the feelings of guilt and regret was just too fucking hard to pass up. I mean, she's Paola Sommers: the irrelevant Hufflepuff girl who made sure to make underachieving her bitch. Her older sister though, that was a whole different story. Having to balance taking care of her insufferable younger sister, and working to pay off her mothers medical bills in the summers in between her time at Hogwarts was just the brunt of it. But, even with the weight of all of their family's problems on her shoulders, Ollie's sister persevered.

Her big sister, the prodigal Gryffindor.

One thing the professors found out very quickly once they laid eyes on the very familiar starstruck face of Paola Sommers, was that she was not going to follow the same path. The abnormally short girl was the complete opposite of her outspoken, quidditch star big sister. When she was asked questions in class she recoiled; when she was asked to demonstrate something she tripped over her feet, ending up ruining the work and having to start over. Whereas Soleil followed through effortlessly, doing things right quickly started to become a chore to Paola.
