I gotta go get Mercedes to go to work, but I know she probably gone walk since she don't know I'm out of practice.
I pulled up to MawMaw house, and went upstairs to Cedes room. She was already dressed, and she told me she didn't know I was coming.
" You ate guh?"
" yeah, still hungry tho" she replied.
" come on! Let's get some before you go to work"
We rushed to the car and drove to Zaxby's, this Cedes favorite place I swear. I chuckled.
" Nah don't be laughing, you know I can't live without it" she said, laughing.

We ordered our food to go, and ate in the car.. we talked a little about school, she told me she made a friend. I'm happy she did, because I'm the only person she be around. Mercedes so introverted toward others, but she talks my ear off. She pretty as fuck with a few tattoos and she got a pretty ass voice. I shouldn't think of her think way, but I kinda think we'll make a cute couple.

" nun really, just school and shit" I lied.
