I finally had the guts to text Harry.

Basically I was going to cook something for him, then make him have dessert later.

A very yummy dessert.

I also wanted to actually talk to him, have a drink and just have his company.

To be honest, I miss him.

Just from that one date, he seems so captivating. All I want to do is be around him and make witty jokes.

God, what have I turned into?

It was around five o'clock when I made the decision. I had already texted him earlier, but I wanted to actually prepare myself. Mentally and physically.

I just came back from a short shift at the pub, and I had time. No other suspects were found according to Liam. I hadn't found anything either.

So, why not?

Finally I just want a fun night where I get ate out. Is that too much to ask?

I grab my phone, sending him the time. A very specific time, just to throw him off.

I'm not that much of a psychopath.

Still a psychopath, though.

I grabbed all my ingredients too. I was actually prepared for this.

The only dish I really know how to make is steak, with stuffed potatoes and a salad.

So, that's what we're going with.

My mom always made that dish when it was someone's birthday. It was my absolute favourite.

I always helped in the kitchen, I also bake too.

I say I love cooking but I only know how to make one dish.

Yeah, sure, that works.

Anyways.

I get out of my train of thought, and start cooking.

Every once in a while, I check the clock to see if I'm running behind. Right now, it's 6:30.

I have my potatoes in the oven, my steak on the stove and my salad is already done.

I'm so ready.

Yay.

The clock finally reaches 6:47, and I'm expecting my doorbell to ring any minute.

I finally take a seat, my feet starting to hurt.

Looking down at my phone I see that Harry hasn't texted me yet.

It's fine that he's late, anything could've happened. No biggie.

I put my stove on simmer and my oven off so the food doesn't get cold. Taking off my apron, I carry my feet out of the kitchen.

I sit down on my couch, fully dressed. I'm wearing a red, silk scoop neck dress. I found it hidden in my closet, and thought I'd look hot in it.

I'm wearing my hair up in a messy bun, with a couple of strands hanging loose.

Just wearing a simple gold bracelet on my wrist, I keep playing with it.

I switch on my TV, looking at the news.

I get a text from Harry saying that he's going to be late because 'he's a dumbass' and got the wrong direction. I smile like an idiot to my phone sending an 'okay:)'.
