"Rosie, are you okay?" A voice of a woman vibrating in my ears as my blurry sight is getting clearer.

"Where are we?" I said as I travel my eyes around, where there are full of lights and white walls.

"You passed out when we are about to go in Jennie's place," Alice said. "I told you don't overthink things, I'm sorry."

"Did you go to her? Did she sign it?" I said. I remember now. Before I passed out, when my visions are getting blurry, I still managed to ask Alice a favor, go to Jennie because I know that she'll wait. But I also beg her not to tell Jennie about my illness.

At first, Alice wants to tell Jennie. But I pled. I hope she did not because that is what made me passed out.

"I told her that you are in love with someone else, I froze up, I almost said it. I'm sorry. I asked her to sign it but she pushed me. Why do you want her to sign the divorce chae? You will survive. Why are you giving up the person you love,"

"And If I'm not? You know what happened to Mom, Alice. 50% chance to live but she died anyway. But for me? I only have 4% to survive" I sobbed. "Then what? I will leave her a widow? I didn't even treat her as a real wife. I can't even remember how we got married. We didn't even have a proper honeymoon" I dryly laughed.

"Tell me, Alice. How can I assure you that I will survive,"

"4%? How?" She said, painfully smiling because of disbelief while her tears are running from her eyes.

"Ye, It got worse, Alice. So please, don't let them operate on me until I got Jennie's sign"

"Did Dad knows?"

"No" I whispered. "I'll tell him. So, Can we just spend the time together? As a family. I want to say goodbye properly."

"If you want to say goodbye properly, I think you should tell Jennie too," Alice said.

"I can't. And what would I say? Hey Jennie, I slept with you because I like you since we are in our first year, and I don't have courage before but now I have because Life is short. And I'm dying" I said playfully.

"What?" A familiar voice said who has a bandage on her ankle, walking toward me.

"What are you doing here?" I worriedly said.

"You are dying?" Her eyes widen. "Is that why you left Jennie?"

"Sorry," I sigh " Please help me....make Jennie sign the divorce letter"

"But she left already after your sister came to her apartment, she is crying badly. And honestly, I don't know where she is. " She said.

"I guess she'll become a widow when she comes back" I painfully smile. "Please take care of her for me, will you?"

"I think Jisoo has an Idea where she is," Lisa said not minding what I just said. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."

"You know the story about Jennie's Brother?" I said. "Of course you are her best friend." I sigh.

"What about her brother?" Alice interrupted, I forgot, My sister is still here.

"Jennie's brother had a stage four cancer, late diagnosis. After his brother's death, she blamed herself for not noticing the changes with her brother. It traumatized her and took her years to recover. After that, she became cold-hearted and that is why she is so picky with people and has lesser people around her mostly because she can't recover fast when someone she loves dies or leave." Lisa said.

"That's why she can't know. It is better this way. We need to make her sign before she knows that I died" I sigh. " I'm honestly planning to tell her about my illness but she told me the story about her brother.

"The fewer people who know, the less the information will get to Jennie. So, I will not tell Jisoo." Lisa smiled. "But, I will come with you, look for her."

" You don't have to Lisa," I said.

"I will, what if something happens to you?" She insisted. "You cannot bring a family with you to look for her, she will be suspicious if you do,"

"You should let her come with you chae, 2 days. Go home in two days" Alice said. "Please, we need you. Don't play her game. If she doesn't want to show up, let her. We also need you, Rosie"

"Fine, two days. Lisa, Thank you" I bowed at Lisa.

"I'm sorry with those harsh words that we texted you," Lisa said while looking down on the floor.

"It's okay, Lisa. I'm really dying anyway."

"Stop saying that, can you?" Alice scolded and walked out of the emergency area.

"Sorry about my sister" I chuckled. "What are you doing here, what happened to your feet?"

"Ohh, after graduation, I went home with my parents, I accidentally slip and almost broke my legs. My parents overreacted and put me here" Lisa laughed. "I'm okay, fully. I'm about to go home actually, my parents are waiting for me in the parking area, but I suddenly saw you. At first, I doubt that it's you but I still listened to your conversation with your sister, which is I'm sorry. And I confirmed it when you mentioned Jennie"

"Oh, your parents must be worriedly waiting for you" I smiled "Go. And Text me, okay? "

Lisa nodded and go.

"Ms. Park," A doctor said behind me. "You need to take the surgery as soon as possible,"

"How many days can you give me, I really need to spend my remaining time with my family" I coldly said.

"two weeks or less. Your symptoms are getting worse each day, so that's the longest duration I can give you. " He said and I nodded.

I'm left alone here in the hospital but Dad is on his way, he just bought some medicine.

In two months, I created a lot of beautiful memories with Jennie that I will carry, but those memories will become painful for Jennie. That's the mistake I made. Fuck. I forgot our deal. I made her love me.

Short Flashbacks

Horseback riding

"Oh my god, I love riding horses, Rosie" Jennie giggled. "Thank you for bringing me here"

Riding a Hot air balloon

"Rosie, I don't laugh at me but I have motion sickness," Jennie said and I held her hands "Don't let go of my hands, please"

Riding a boat

"I can't baby, did you forget? I have motion sickness" Jennie said. "I know but please? I want to experience it with you" I pouted. 

"Lucky, you are too beautiful that I can't resist," Jennie kissed me.

Running in the beachside.

"Don't run, Rosie! " Jennie shouted as I saw a jetski and I want to ride it.

Mountain climbing

"Baby, don't! Oh my god, I thought we will die there" Jennie laughed as I tickle her when we reached the top of the mountain.

Bungee jumping

"Jump with me baby," I smiled at my scared cat-eyed baby.

"Hug me instead" Jennie nervously laughed and I wrapped my arms around her and jumped.
