Chapter 2: a phone call to tears

Zayn's Pov

I opened the door to my place. Thank god my parents aren't home. They like Liam, they call him their son-in-law already. I know he's my forever and always, it's just we never get alone time.

"so whatcha wanna do?" he asked. I walk over to him and pull him up the stairs.

"Zayn....baby I'm too tired right now, how about later?" he asked

"No no not that. I just wanna cuddle with you. Something I wish I could do 24/7." I lay on my bed and he lays next to me. I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me.

"I feel so loved when you're near me-" my phone goes off. I pick it up and look at the caller ID 'Harry the flirt Styles' I answerd

"Hello?" I asked

"Hi z!" he yells into the phone.

"what's up?" I asked

"we are about 3 minutes away from your place..wait I see it, make it 1." shit! Shit! Shit!

"okay, see you soon." I hang up and look at liam.

"babe? What's wrong?" I stand up. "We have to get down stairs. I'll explain later." I grab his hand and run downstairs. He sits on the couch and pulls out a science book and I do the same. Opening it to a random page. Making it look like we were studying or something. I heard a knock on the door and I jump slightly. Slowly opening it.

"Zayn!" Louis yells running in.

"damn Louis calm down." Harry said walking in. Both stopping to look at liam.

"why is he here?" Harry asked. Liam looks at them

"Mrs. Elder's is making us do a project."

"eeeewwww. You have to work with a Faggot?" Liam looks hurt.

"yeah, I know right? Gross." I say. Immediately feeling horrible that said something like that.

"I guess I'll leave." he stands up. Packing his stuff and walks out. I sigh and look at the guys.

"people like him deserve to die in a ditch." louis comments. I flinch,Not so much that it was noticeable.

"yeah. All he's good at is sucking dick and taking it up the arse." Harry said earning a laugh from Lou.

"anyway, did you see that new kid in PE?" I say. Trying to change the subject.

"yeah, he's cool." Louis comments.

"His name is Niall right?" I asked. Harry nods.

"He can hang out with us anytime." Harry continues. I will admit Niall is awesome. He has bleach blonde hair and blue eyes. That dude can eat.

"what is your project with Mr. Cocksucker?" Louis asked

"why gay people are std positive?" Harry jokes. I feel like yelling at them. But Liam wouldn't want me too. I laugh fakely.

"good one." I say high fiving him.

"let's go fuck with some girls." Louis says.

"but Harry has a girlfriend" I say.

"Not anymore." Harry chuckles. "She's a slut." he continued

"let's stop talking. I heard Julia is having a party at her place." Louis says. Walking out. Harry following. I gulped,

"I'm sorry guys I really feel sick." I say trying to get myself out of it.

"ugh, you're such a killJoy Zayn. See ya at school." Harry says getting into the car then leaving.

"bye" I close the door and sit on my couch.

"why can't I just be happy with Liam?" I cried. Tears fall down my cheeks. The door opens and my mother walks in.

"Zayn, what's wrong? Is Liam okay?" she sits next to me and my sisters walk in. Looking at me, giving me a giant group hug

"I-I just want t-to show L-Liam off, s-show the s-school that I-I love h-him." I manage to say. Through my hiccups.

"Zayn." my mother starts. Looking at my sisters signaling then to go upstairs. Once it's just me and her she starts talking again.

"I'm sorry people can't accept you and Liam as a couple. I'm sorry that you guys have to go behind people's back. That's the way love works. And the fact you haven't given up on Liam and he hasn't given up on you. Means that you two love each other more then words can say. I'm proud of you, I'm proud you told me about Liam. He's a nice boy. I wish Harry and Louis could see that. Just give it time. Everything will work out. I promise." she hugs me and I cry harder.

"Invite Liam over for dinner. We'll find a way to let you two be a normal couple without actually having to show and tell people. Okay?" I can only nod. I love my mom and sisters, my dad is great too. I'm greatful that I have such a loving family and boyfriend. She hands me my phone. I take it and dial Liam's number.

"Ello?" he asks.

"Hi Liam. I'm sorry for what happend when the guys got here..."

"Babe, stop saying sorry. You have to do what you have to do."

"I love you Liam. More then life itself." I say, trying not to cry.

"I love you too z-Bear. You know that. I will always love you."

"can you come over for dinner?" I ask

"yeah. Give me fifteen minutes. I'll be right there."

"Okay."

"bye Love."

"bye." I hang up and look at my mom. She looks like she'a gonna cry too.

"Go freshen up, I'll get dinner ready." she stands up and walks into the kitchen. I stand up and make my way into my room's bathroom. I'm ready for what ever happends for tonight.
