Why does every Hero need a tragic backstory?
This terrifying night, brought out the worse in so many people but also showed bravely and love. Love, an experience that many truly don't understand the meaning of and many will never know at all. Not truly.
So much death and torture lead us to this moment. This moment that can not be undone, as it is the cataclysmic end of a force deemed as Dark. As Evil. Told from the side of the Light. The Heroes.
The flash of green shines through the bottom of the door, as a woman with fiery hair places her sleeping daughter down in a wardrobe, closing it slightly as she reaches for her son. However, he is left in the crib as the door to the nursery was spelled opened. Surprising to most, and most won't believe, there was a plead in the man's voice as he asked the woman to step out the way. Of course she refused these were her children after all and now the last reminder of the man she'd loved. Though, not only in shock from what is happening but mostly from who was in front of her. How it is everyone believes that those eyes are kind? Especially, as they are the eyes that are staring you down and demanding you to change who you are. What you believe in. To make sure a prophecy never reaches true.
As the Darkness takes over the room time seem to slow. Not completely, however. As another flash of green flies and a cry of a child bounced around the tiny nursery. As the women with the fiery red hair fell she closed the door of the wardrobe completely shut, hiding the child within there. While her son screamed.
Screamed so loud that the man, glared back at him. That only made him wail more. The man in the room raised his wand and moved away from the doorway, as another was dragged in by a force unseen. Bruised and pale. Sickening truly. His blue eyes looked like broken glass instead of there normal clear ocean blue.
That was the man who casted the next spell. The one to pay the price for it. With a final spark of green directed at the child crying in the crib. It backfired and knock the shaken man instead. Though, died with a sad smile on his face. Free. The final thought that filled his mind.
If only that was true.
The other in anger disappeared taking the body of the smiling corpse with in.
Leaving the two children. One screaming in a crib, starring down at his mother unmoving body. The other confused hidden in the dark unsure of where they are, but only quietly whimpering afraid to be to loud.
But now they wait to be heard.
Or better yet to be found.
