Beautiful is a word, attributed to, as everyone says, all things fair and worth appreciation. One word to describe everything that kindles a feeling of enjoyment and warmth in one's mind.

There were certain things that were beyond just the likes of this common term.

Beomgyu was one among those. Whether he realised it or not.

Anyone with layman's eyes may say his outfit was the point, but a person with sheer appreciation of art and beauty, would definitely acknowledge on how gorgeous he looked.

A feeling of massive joy. Something that he had not felt in a long period of time. That was what Kang Taehyun felt, when he laid eyes on the male before him.

He couldn't bring about to say anything sane, for his voice was caught in his throat.
Yet he knew he could not let go of his usual demeanour.

Taehyun closed his eyes for a slight bit and opened them again, hoping that this was all not a dream and the jewel of a human standing right before him, was not a figment of his imagination.

This guy looks younger than I thought. Did I get into the wrong room? Oh my god Jackson hyung's gonna kill me.

Beomgyu's thought train swerved right and left, and was stopped when he noticed the other male beckoning him over with a nod of his head.

Beomgyu paced forward and only then did he get a better view of his client.

Wide yet shrewd, sharp eyes. The most perfect nose he had seen in his entire meagre life. Luscious brown hair that reached up to his shoulders, swooped back, full forehead on display. Beomgyu's fingers almost twitched to run through those locks. He was clad in an expensive suit, which Beomgyu was sure would definitely pay his entire college fee.

Beomgyu was staring. For he never had much young clients. And not much clients who looked so damn attractive. Most of them were old people looking for a quick one.

"Sit."

Beomgyu perked up on hearing the other's command. Although it didn't felt like a command, so as to say.

He sat down, next to his legs, on the floor.
Because that was what he usually did. He knew what it would end up as.

He flinched when slim fingers carded lightly through his blonde locks, and pulled a little so that Beomgyu had to look up.

"On the couch."

Beomgyu gulped.

No one had ever asked him that.

That was respect.

Something that Beomgyu always wanted from anyone who came to see him.

Everytime he had a new client, the familiarity of the floor had never changed.
Back when he was slapped by his father for being gay, Beomgyu had slept on the floor that night, his salty tears gliding along the tiled ground.
In Papillon, things had been different. The floor the same.

Call it submission, or a cheap trick for pleasing, Beomgyu had almost no choice but to render himself free of his dignity sometimes.

Being an escort was something he had not been proud of, and perhaps the flaying it does on his self-respect, made him consider his job as cheap as he could render it to be.

For once, he had considered that in any job, there could be and be respect.

It just needs to come from oneself, with the right place, person and time.

The seemingly shocked face of Beomgyu worried Taehyun a slight bit, but he decided not to show it.

He watched as the other, rose from the floor, in a painstakingly slow pace. He settled beside Taehyun in the red couch, and fumbled with his fingers, caressing them along his fur coat.

"What's your name?", asked Taehyun, his mind still mesmerised wildly by the male beside him.

Beomgyu seemed to ponder a bit. His escort name was Beomie, one that San had chosen when he first arrived at the club. The name struck, he guessed, for everyone seemed to be calling him Beomie, even in college, and Beomgyu had sometimes flinched and had to take a double whenever he was called.

This time it could change. Jackson hyung would be mad as fuck.
Oh well fuck it.

"Beomgyu."

Taehyun smiled. Not his usual smirk, but a genuine smile, and Beomgyu smiled a bit as well.

"What's yours?" Beomgyu blurted out even before he could catch his wretched tongue.
By now he had broken two of Papillon's first rules, and he was literally dying inside.

Taehyun turned to look at him, into those lens covered silver orbs. They do not make him any less beautiful.

"Call me Tae."

"You won't tell me your real name?"

Taehyun chuckled.
"I will. When the time's right."

Beomgyu gave Taehyun a rather confused look, but decided to ignore the feeling.

"Umm... I was told...that there were two guys?" Beomgyu asked, stuttering mildly.

Taehyun paused for a bit.
Does he know Yeonjun hyung was here?
No, he is talking about those old guys.

"Aah yes," Taehyun agreed as he clasped his fingers in front of him, rubbing them together, "He left a while ago. His girlfriend seemed to be...restless." He added the last part with a sly smirk.

"Oh."

Beomgyu blanked out again.
Aah yes the lap dance.

"I was told to give a lap dance."

Taehyun was honestly surprised by Beomgyu's words, but not too much. He had seen his fair share of dirty dances and activities back when his father forced young girls and even boys to entertain his peers at the weekly parties he held. All the more reason for Taehyun to stay away from those.

He stared back at Beomgyu, who was still gaping at him with those gorgeous eyes, and somewhere in the back of his mind, Taehyun almost heard a voice musing to him.

He is yours.
You are his.
Don't let him be tarnished.
Not ever.

"Not today, Gyu."

The nickname had came so naturally that even Taehyun was surprised.

He called me Gyu?, Beomgyu was blushing so hard, that his cheeks were the color of cherries. Taehyun noticed this blushing and crossed his hands over to the other's, subtly entwining them with his own.
The movement was a bit sudden, Beomgyu admits, but it felt...

...real.

Natural.

Beautiful.

Beomgyu's slim fingers carded through Taehyun's rather calloused hands, and when Taehyun glided his thumb across the back of his palm, Beomgyu was almost melting.

"I can call you Gyu, right?" Taehyun asked, his lower tone laced with a hint of curiosity, and an impending disappointment, if the other was to say no.

"Yes. You can call me Gyu." Beomgyu held a breath, as he blurted this out, as softly as possible.

Taehyun hummed and smiled.

How I wish Yeonjun hyung took a little longer?

___________

See. I told you I have no idea where this is going.

Anyways, y'all stay happy and stay safe.
I love you!
