I was cleaning my room when i got a facetime call from Hunter. "Hey" i said "Hey i was wondering if you could come over for a bit we need to talk." he said blankly "Oh um sure" i said nervously. I hopped out of my car and knocked on their door.Natalie opened the door. "Oh hey nat" "Hi" she said with a smile. "Hunters in his room" she says already knowing what i came for. "Thank you" i said with a light chuckle. as i'm walking up the stairs i can hear Hunter playing the game.once i get to his room i open his door quietly "Hey" "Oh hey" he says smiling at me while getting off the game.He comes up to me and hugs as he gives me a small peck.i just wrap my arms around his neck enjoying his presence. "So what did you want to talk about" i say as i slowly unwrap my arms from his neck sitting on his bed nervously. "So um" i can hear the nervousness in his voice. "Basically um we have to-we have to break up." "what do you mean we have to break up." i say as i can already hear my voice cracking. "I really don't want to but i'm forced too y/n" "How are you forced to break up with someone" i say easing my voice a bit angry at the fact that he can just give up 7 months like that. " Well grandpa says that it's not good for publicity you know a normal girl like you and well a guy like me" i can hear the guilt in his voice. At this point i'm crying. "But hunter you shouldn't have to be forced to do these things." "Ik babe i hate it" he says crying as well as caresses the sides of my face. "Please don't do this." i say lightly whispering looking him in the eye. "I have to." he says as he closes his eyes and kisses my forehead.We stay in this position for a while just hugging enjoying what might be out last moments together. "I should probably go it's getting late." i say as i sniffle "Yeah" "um i'll drop your things off tomorrow." "No.keep them please" he says in a soft voice. "Ok" i say as i grab my phone. As i'm about to walk out the door he grabs my hand and twirls me around.He intertwines our hands and puts our foreheads together. "Pls forgive me" " i do babe i do" i say in a comforting voice "And please promise you won't forget about me" "I won't.You were my first love" "Ill be waiting for you." "Me too" i say giving him one last kiss. I turn around to look at him one more time before leaving their home.
And just like that it was over it was real life.
