I am slightly startled to see 'Erik' standing inches from my face. "Wow." I say and take a step back. "Sorry." He says smirking. "So, what did you tip me for?" I ask. "That's what you usually do to get someone's attention." He says innocently. I smile at him. "Have a name?" He asks. "Kimberly, friends call me Kim." I say "Kim, my names Erik." He states confidently. "So you classify yourself as one of my friends already?" I say jokingly. He laughs knowing I was joking. "Is there by any chance I could take you out, even on a walk or something?" He asks with a slight hint of desperation. "I would love to," I say but he cuts me off with a "yess!" "But," I add and he sighs. "There's always a but." He cuts. "Them four girls down there, there my friends and they are staying with me for the next few days. I feel it's my job to entertain them." I say he smiles. "I'll sort them entertainment, my friends would love to go out with your friends." He says and I smile. "I'll ask them."

I say and hear a deliberate cough from behind me. I turn to see the waitress stood there with the milkshake in her hand. "Could you just add it onto the bill?" I ask in please. "It's on the house." She says and I smile at her with thanks. I turn back to Erik. I walk past him and back to my friends. They all wait and watch me as I arrive at the booth. I place the shake on the table. "Sit! Tell us what happened." Jazz demands. I stay standing. "He wants to take me out, I told him no that I have to stay with you guys. He insisted and said he'll set you guys up to go out with his mates." I tell them and they all smile. "Sure!" Anna and Kate say in unison. Jazz nods, she's not a excited. She is in a healthy relationship, although it's with my cousin. "No thanks." Mandy states. "To be honest, I don't care if you do or don't. As long as the people that make me happy are happy." I state and she appears to be shocked. "Oh don't act shocked, you've been such a pig since you got here." I tell her.

Eventually all four of the girls agree to go out with Eriks friends. We all get up and walk towards the only other occupied booth. All four of them stand up. All 9 of us just look at each other. "Anyways... I am Kim, this is Anna, Kate, Jasmine and as you all know Mandy." I say to the boys rolling my eyes at the end of the sentence. "Im Erik, This is Craig, Chris and my brother Lyle." Erik says to my friends and I. "So, what you girls up for?" The man who is said to be Craig asks. "Can we go to the holly wood sign?!" Anna asks. "Yea sure, two go in Lyles car and two come in my." Craig responds. With that all 7 took off in two separate cars.

I look up to the tall figure beside me. "So what you wanna do?" Erik asks. "You asked me to out, your the one that should have an idea." I tell him. "Wanna go back to the pier?" He asks. "Yesss." I reply quickly, I loved it there. We didn't even get to do half the stuff there.

With that we both start walking. "So what's your deal?" He asks. "From Ireland, moved here a few weeks ago for my new job. I know like nobody here."
I tell him. "Well now you know 3 cool guys." He says, that confuses me. "There was four of you." I say. "Ye the three of them are cool, The word cool is a complete understatement for me." He says jokingly. I laugh a little. "So what you work as?" He asks. "I work on movie sets, stunt director and coordinator." I spill and he seems surprised. "What?!" I ask 'is that like a lame job or something' "nothing, I just expected you to say, actress, model or athlete or something." He admits looking down at me as we walk. "Sorry, my job isn't as spectacular as you wanted it to be." I say and his eyes widen. "No, no that's not what I meant." He said, defending himself quickly. "I'm joking, it's fine." I say giggling.

"So what do you do?" I ask nonchalantly. "Lyle and I are both professional tennis players." He says and I nod. "I used to play tennis at home, I'll have to give you a game one of the days." I say messing but he turned to me and said "deal."

We arrived at the entrance. We walked in, bought tickets. Well, he bought tickets after he insisted and insisted. "What you wanna do first?" He asked as we both looked around. All the big bright lights, the smiles on everyone's faces and the fresh smell of candy floss and popcorn. "I'll give you a game." I say nodding my head towards a stall, it was a basketball game. He smiled at me and pulled me off in that direction. He handed the man two tickets and we both stood in front of nets beside each other. We were now in a row with about 8 other people, all playing the same game. A loud buzzer went off and suddenly the balls came rolling towards me. I picked them up one by one and threw them, aiming of the net.

We both ended up loosing the basketball game. Erik came in 2nd, but I reminded him 'nobody ever remembers second place.' We played more games. Every time I raged in the slightest, his smile would get bigger. The corners of his lips were practically roughing his ear lobes, when I kicker the stall in frustration that I lost. He finally won a game. He got this large teddy as a prize. Obviously he gave it to me. In which I replied with "thanks, you hopeless romantic."

It was dark now and I was starting to get tired, but I didn't let him see that. "Hey, wanna go down under the pier? we can sit on the sand." He suggests and I nod. He pulls my off.
