The moment I get downstairs, I hear screams of happy birthdays.
What the bloody hell? How did everybody in the world remember my birthday and I didn't?
I smile as I look at aunt Emma, Ron and Becky. I knew Tory won't be with them. She doesn't like crowds.
"Thank you." I say sincerely.
"So what do you want for breakfast?" And Emma says.
I looked into the kitchen and I found every breakfast you could ever think of. From cereals to bacon and eggs, from pancakes and syrup to cake.
I was about to grab a plate and go for the cake when my phone beeped with a message.
Tory: No breakfast, bitch.
What the bloody fuck, Tory? I have to miss all this?
"No, thank you. I'm already late for school see ya." I say as I grab an apple and run out before they start asking me questions.
Tory is already in her car. I walk over and get into the car.
"This had better be for a good reason, bitch."
She just smiles at me and drives off.

When we get to the school, my hand instinctively reach up to my back before I realise I'm not wearing my hoodie.
I sigh.
I grab my bag and get out of the car. Trust my best friend. The moment she gets out of the car, she makes sure she calls all attention to me.
"Yo, Nessa! Over here!" She yells.
Everyone turns to me and I can see the shocked looks on everyone's faces. Tory glances at me with a smirk and starts moving.
I sigh.
Okay. Here goes nothing.
Immediately I enter into the school, I sight one of those guys looking at me. I gulp and look away.
That turned out to be a mistake as the next person I see is Nicole and her minions walking towards me.
I'm rooted to the ground. My legs refuse to obey me.
Run, you fool.
I keep saying it to myself but I can't move. When Nicole finally stops in front of me, she looks at me disdainfully all over and I try to stop myself from squirming.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? So, Nessa Ambrose finally decided to put on some civil clothes. Who would have thought?" She says and I hear muffled laughter all around me.
Well, this is good. Verbal attack I can take. As far as it doesn't get physical.
"What's behind the change, bitch? Looking for a boyfriend? Well, no one is interested in your ugly self and no one ever will." She yells.
Ouch. That one hurts.
Before tears even have an opportunity to form in my eyes, Nicole's hair is yanked back so much that her neck almost snaps.
All eyes turns to the saviour of the day.
I was expecting to see Tory. Hell, I would have been less shocked if it had been Becky or even Michelle but what I saw had me gasping for breath.
