Fun fact that I made up for this book: There is a period of time when Alphas needs the attention of an omega because they'd want to be held and just cuddled.

Perrie's POV

"Jesy and I are going out of town together since she doesn't wanna be alone with her parents. You two are gonna stay here.", Jade says wrapping her arm around Jesy's neck. "It's not that I don't wanna take you guys, it just that my parents like Jade the best so I'm hoping if she makes a good impression then they'll let you two start coming around.", Jesy says quickly. "You're all good Jes, no hard feelings.", I say. "Leigh?", she questions. "It's good. Plus, I would strangle your stepdad.", she says looking away from her phone. "Took the words right out of my mouth baby.", I grin pecking her cheek. "We'll be back on Monday. I love you both and don't kill each other.", Jade says giving us both a quick kiss.

"What do you wanna do first?", I question sitting down on Leigh's lap. "It's almost seven. I say we get started in dinner.", she says stretching. "I can never turn down dinner.", I say standing up. "Your job is to chop up those peppers, please don't cut yourself Perrie.", she says handing me the knife. "It happened one time.", I protest. She gives me a knowing look and I fold my arms. "Ok maybe eight or nine times but still.", I say. "Just don't be stupid.", she sighs. "You're stupid.", I mumble. "What was that?", she questions turning around. "Nothing, love you baby.", I say turning around. "Sure.", she scoffs. Watching Leigh cook is the sexiest thing ever. She makes this face of concentration which is just her biting her lip but it never fails to make me hot and bothered.

She says that she looks weird when she cooks but I could beg to differ. "Focus on the peppers before you cut your finger babe.", she says not looking up from her job of making the sauce. "But I wanna focus on your sexy face.", I say putting the knife down. "If you come over here I could tell you now that you'll be bent over the counter.", she says not looking from chopping up the chili. "You know I hate doing it on the counter.", I whine. "Which is exactly why I said that. And could you please focus on cutting the peppers? I'm almost done with my part.", she says grabbing the mixer from the cabinet. "You're being so mean.", I pout focusing my attention back to the task.

I have one pepper left and as I go to cut the stem off, I miss and get my finger. "Leigh, I cut my finger!", I whine hopping up and down. "Baby, what have I told you about getting distracted?", she sighs wrapping a towel around my finger. "I didn't mean to, I saw a pretty butterfly and I missed the pepper stem.", I say. "What am I going to do this weekend?", she questions to the sky. "Stop it, I'm already in pain!", I say pushing her shoulder. She kisses my lips to silence me and lifts me up onto the counter before ducking down to get the first aid kit. "Let me see your finger.", she sighs. I unwrap the towel and she wipes it clean and puts the cleaning stuff on it then puts on a band aid after. "You can go wait on the couch. I'll finish up here.", she says.

"You have to kiss it better.", I say holding up my bandaged finger. She kisses over the blue band aid then my lips again before sending me off into the lounge. "I wanna watch you cook.", I say. She sighs and helps me back up on top of the counter and turns back to her task. "Don't forget the honey.", I say. She starts mixing everything together and I watch her. "Have a taste and tell me if I need anything.", she says giving me some in a spoon. "It's sweet. I thought it was supposed to be spicy.", I say. "So more jerk paste?", she questions. I nod and she puts a lot more in. "Now I doubt there's any sweetness.", she says feeding me some. "Very hot.", I nod. "Well, now we just gotta wait for them to cook.", she says.

"I can think of something to do to pass the time.", I say wrapping my arms around her neck. "No.", she says taking my arms away. "You're no fun.", I say folding my arms. "If that's what'll keep us alive over the weekend then prepare to be bored out of your mind.", she shrugs walking upstairs. "Don't leave me.", I say running up the stairs behind her. "I'm in the shower love.", she calls out. "And no you can't join me.", she adds as I start stripping off my shirt. "Fine, I'm going to take a nap instead.", I groan flopping down onto the bed. I kick off my shoes and pants and lay down before turning on the tv. "Scoot.", she says throwing her towel in the hamper. "No, you get the floor because that's where little insects like you stay.", I say throwing her pillow at her.
