Lisanna Moore's P. O. V

Everyone is found with smiles all around and the once palpable tension meandering through the air now having settled down into a relaxed atmosphere. Each and every person that had managed to help with the conference now much more lax and in a forgoing mood but that doesn't stop a few of us sending glares at the reporter that nearly led to everything being messed up and our hard work going down the drain. Even I decided to partake in the admittedly petty occurrence but thankfully the reporter got the gist of our anger and the once haughty smirk that tugged at his lips now turned into a sheepish smile as he darted through the open doors, leading to his sanctuary outside.

"We should head to the back and check in on what Samantha has to say. She told us to meet her after the conference." I relay to a now nodding Rose, the both of us then making our way through the crowd while trying to dodge the rest of the reporters that have decided to stay back so that they can scrounge around for more information to spruce up their up and coming articles even more. Unluckily for them, the security team is already making a move on trying to get the people who aren't required to stay back to get packing and out of the building as soon as possible. Thankfully we aren't fussed around with too much since our cards let us slip into the back room filled to the brim with people that are promptly ushered out once Samantha enters in with Mr. Sinclair in tow, no body guards scattered around him like usual which strikes me as peculiar, I do admit.

The relief on the face of the prince is apparent to everyone as he throws his shoulders back, rolling them around to let out the tension that must have being built continuously through the near about one hour that he stood on stage.

"You did well Mr. Sinclair." Samantha says with warmth, a beaming smile on her face as she comes to a standstill besides me while I nod along, agreeing with her.

"Is that so, Ms Moore?" I nearly balk in surprise when Mr. Sinclair turns a steady gaze to me, head tilted to the side as his hand travels up to his tie, swiftly loosening it a tad so as to not sit so tightly around his neck. Stunned for a few brief moments, I find Rose's partial nudging to snap me out of my haze just in time as I nod my head once more.

"Of course Mr. Sinclair. You followed the script perfectly and handled the sudden change of plans with ease by answering it in a way that we all advised. I can guarantee that the press and public will be singing nothing but praises for you when the press conference is aired publicly." I answer smoothly, or at least I hope I answered smoothly and haven't ended up sounding like too much of a try hard.

The prince promptly seems pleased with my answer as he bows his head a fraction of an inch but then sends a pointed look my way that has all once utter relief flying out of me in the next instance, "Well if things are to go awry I'll know who to pin the blame on." The smile on my face slips off immediately and is replaced by a rather apparent vague of apprehension, his words hitting too close to home but its not like I can say anything about it.

I can already imagine the confounded looks that will be sent my way if I were to make a complaint against their very own crown Prince. I'm sure they'd send me on my way to the nearest hospital so that I can go and get a brain scan done. Yes that definitely seems more likely.

"Of course," I mutter back politely, taking heed of the perturbed glance that Samantha sends my way, probably worried I'd take his comment to hurt. I will admit, I am feeling a little snub but I cast that aside as conversation erupts on the next steps that need to be taken. Talks surrounding how the public will take everything that has been given to them and how the next step will most likely be Mr. Sinclair making a public appearance with the King and Queen themselves, all eyes on how the family interacts with one another. Especially when it comes to the Queen and how she's reacting to the widely broadcasted news that not only had the King cheated on her but the malicious affair resulting in a son being born that supposedly, she had no idea about. It is rather obvious that the King has been flagged as much of a scoundrel and his reputation that once preceded him, now does so once more but in the very unlawful sense. The queen on the other hand has gotten all sorts of support with the larger side of the public sharing sympathies with the woman scorned which they believe her to be behind the façade she puts up.
