Chapt. 2

Glancing on my right side I see my alarm, it was 5:59 am I quickly reached the alarm clock and turned the alarm sound off before it rings and irritates me. I search for my slippers using my feet while sitting on my bed. I go to the bathroom and started my morning routine.

While staring at the ceiling of my bathroom, I start wondering why no one called me or texted for an interview. "It's too early!" I say convincing myself while shampooing my hair. I then grabbed the loofah scrubber and pumped some body wash rubbing my body gently. I turn the shower on to rinse my whole body.

I put on my TopShop Joni Jeans in white and a gray fitted crop top and wore my Zara black snake skin slip on shoes. While blow drying my hair, bigla kong naalala si Mr. Pogi and I squealed a bit. "Knock knock! Myla! time for breakfast!" My mom shouts while outside my room in front of my door "opo!" I turn my blow drier off unplugged it as I threw it on top of my bed. I managed to wear a light make up with my eyebrows on 'fleek' as they call it. I grab my bag checking my keys for my car and my locker at school and see they're all in my bag.

I sit beside my dad as he was busy reading todays newspaper "Goodmorning!" I greet and my dad raised both of his eyebrows, I guess that's his reply. "So? Myla, how's your first day at school?" Mom says while arranging our breakfast. "It was fine as always!" I answer while reaching for the sausages and sunny side up eggs. "Are you sure? Have you met some friends?" My dad asks while looking at me still holding the newspaper "Dad, you do know It's my senior year in Maharlika University right?" I told him and I giggle "I was just making sure you're doing alright" he told me making sure I understand what he's trying to imply "opo thank you!" I said "kain na tayo" sabi ni mama habang siya ay paupo na sa breakfast table.

I was staring at my locker for about 30 mins. With no apparent reason until, " Yuy! Myla! How've you been? I missed youuuuu" a small familiar voice behind me, its Faith's my other friend. Faith Pura is her full name the youngest daughter of Dr. and Dra. Martin Pura. "Hey! Faith I'm good! How bout you? How's France?" I ask, she had a vacation with her family during summer she and her family always travel outside the Philippines what a lucky girl! "It was actually good I missed eating rice! Haha" She says while looking for something in her bag. "Here I got you this" she says and handed me a gold Eiffel Tower keychain! "Thank you!" I said, palagi siyang may pasalubong for us. I close my locker and we both walk onto our way to the classroom. I have seen her class schedule and we both know that we're classmates every T,Th,S.

"Where's Sia?" She asks, "She's actually my classmate in Feasibilty Study, kay sir Pitacio" I tell her " Aha! oonga pala kaklase ko din siya sa Cost Control Analysis kay Ms. Olea, but I just got here last night kaya hindi ako nakapasok yesterday!" She answered, I actually have no idea what happened bakit hindi kaming friends magkakaklase dun sa subject na yun! It would've been fun! Especially since the subject is all about computing this and that so I might find a way to enjoy it. Sayang talaga. I think to myself. "I know right?" I tell her as we sat down on our seats at the back of the class, with Faith sitting in the right side of my chair.

While listening to Mrs. Lorenzo our Business Communications instructor introducing herself and all her achievements in life. I suddenly smell this scent it's quite a familiar scent it's like I've smelled this before, it really smells so good! While closing my eyes concentrating myself trying to figure out kung saan kona naamoy yung scent na yun suddenly, "Hey Miss? Here's your copy" I open my eyes then 'BOOM' it's him!! Mr. Pogi he's giving me a piece of paper. "A...yes thanks!" I tell him as he turns his back on me.

WTF?! He's my fvcking classmate! And he's in front of me!! I am trying really hard to stay calm! Faith is staring at me with a curious look on her face. I text her without our instructor noticing
" you see this guy in front of me? I met him yesterday He actually caught me staring at him in a weird way almost close to being creepy but he remained cool about it"
, her reply is
"OMG? Really? Do you think he still remembers you?"
I raised both of my shoulders to tell her that I'm not really sure.

"Kriiiing...kriiiing"
The bell rang and our class is dismissed, Faith and I have to wait for an hour for our next subject. "San tayo tatambay Faith?" I ask her "sa Library pero daan muna tayo sa canteen, I'm starving as fuck!" we both laugh and head our way to canteen. Today I bought a chicken sandwich with bottled Mango juice. I'm not sure what faith bought , as we were heading on our way to the Library then I saw Mr. Pogi talking to some instructors and it's like they know him. These instructors seem interested in him. Faith and I look at each other feeling so confused and intrigued about what we just witnessed.

School was tiring, all I ever want to do right now is sleep. What a life! I actually don't know what to feel right now. My life was always boring. Well at least for me it is! I've never been into a relationship, it was never my priority. I mean it never crossed my mind.
