Naruto: A Brother's Help (Naruto fanfic)

Adoption

{Konohagakure, Hokage's office}
(Narrator POV)
Shisui was currently shouting at the Hokage, and surprisingly, the Sandaime was just sitting there and taking it without a complaint. Shisui had burst into the room in a flock of black Ravens, with an unconscious and bleeding Naruto on his shoulder. Once a medic-nin had tended to the boy, as Shisui was adamant that the hospital staff did not heal Naruto, and Naruto was laid down on a cushion in the Hokage's office, the Shisui began to yell.

Hiruzen was yelled at about how Naruto was abused, beaten, ignored, hated, and plain glared at. Shisui had expected that the Hokage would take the proper measures to ensure that Naruto would NOT have this type of treatment, yet Naruto was treated like a demon by all. At the end of his scolding, Shisui demanded that Hiruzen let him adopt Naruto as his surrogate brother. Hiruzen just sighed, and explained that the DAMNED civilian council held him back from bettering Naruto's life in any way at all. Shisui, however, was not taking no as an answer.

"You will goddamn give me the papers for the adoption of Naruto, it's his choice, and besides, he has the sharingan, he's an Uchiha!", Shisui yelled with his Mangekyou fully activated. Hiruzen gave in, but told Shisui that whatever the council did about Naruto was now on his shoulders. Shisui accepted.

Hours later, Naruto woke up, with not a single wound to show for the entire ordeal. He slowly rose, stretching his joints to remove the stiffness, and taking notice of the stainless white walls and the smell of medicine: he was in the hospital.
Suddenly, the door opened, and his newly make friend, Shisui, came in.

Shisui spoke," Naruto, let me explain some things to you. First, I have adopted you as my brother. You will come with me and live in the Uchiha clan complex. You have a family, Naruto."

Naruto took all of this in, and responded in a hopeful voice."R-Really? Will you really a-adopt me? No one would want to adopt m-me. Everyone h-hates me." Shisui simply chuckled.

"Don't you worry, Naruto. I won't hate you. I'll be you friend, your brother, your sensei, your shoulder to cry on, your crutch, and your family. You will never have to worry about the haters, ever. So, will you come with me?"

Naruto, who was overcome with emotions, began to cry, and he launched himself at Shisui and clung to him like a lifeline. Shisui chuckled and returned the gesture, saying "I'll take that as a 'yes'."

"Well, Naruto Uchiha, how 'bout we head home. We got a big, big day tomorrow and we need the rest."

"Yeah, Shisui-nii, let's go home."
