Chapter 1 Diana and Jeremy

FEBRUARY 3RD 1862 || I finish up some homework and look for Diana. "Diana!! You've been gone all day are we playing some extreme hide and seek that I never knew about??! Come on seriously?" I heard a knock on the door and open it to see Diana "Hi Valen!" She steps in our dorm with a hand full of roses and chocolates. "Woah who are those from?" I asked with a little bit of an attitude. "Jeremy.!" Diana says with a huge smile. Her smile slowly fades as she looks at my expression. "You look upset, did something happen?" Diana asks me. "You we're gone all day.! I was searching for you all morning." I say with an upset look. "Valen.. I've been with Jeremy every week since January. I thought you'd be used to it by now! Plus you could've just used a locating spell if you were that worried." Diana said that with a grin. She always looks cute with a grin. I can't stay mad at her, but she needs to learn a lesson on not telling me where she is. She knows how protective I am. "I know I know. You're ALWAYS with Jeremy. ALSO! I haven't mastered the locator spell and you know that, I fell asleep the whole time we were learning in Mr. Purses class." I told Diana. "Purses? How tired are you? It's Mr. Pierce.!" She said while giggling at me. I love making her smile.

We laughed for a couple of minutes until we hear a knock on the door. "I'll- I'll- *giggling* I'll get it.!" I say while barley having enough breath. *opens door* "Hi is Diana here?" My smile quickly fades. But if Diana is ever gonna trust me to NOT make Jeremy forget he ever met her with a spell, I have to support her with dating him. Not that I've thought of doing that spell. "Oh it's you. Hey Jeremy, come in" my real smile turned into a fake smile in just 10 seconds. "Oh hey! Did I forget something at your dorm?" Diana exclaims. "Yep! Here are the sunflowers you forgot!" "Darn it. Her favorite is sunflowers. What if I just made the flowers die right now-" I thought in my head. Until I got interrupted by Jeremy. "Hey, there's a masquerade ball this month later tomorrow. You guys down to come??" Jeremy exclaims. "Yes! My big chance. I'll plan it out later.." I thought in my head. "Ah yes!!" Diana excitedly says. "Sure.! I'll be there" I say while smiling. "Cool, see you later!"

*Jeremy leaves* me and Diana sit in silence then turn to each other and burst in laughter. Otherwise, looks like I have a plan.
