After struggling through the airport crowds, I was outside. Stunned by the beautiful city.
My landlord said the apparent will be ready at 5, it's 12:34. So I decide to just go on a walk through the city.
The light blinds me. Another thing I forgot to pack sunglasses.
"Whoops" I hear a manly voice say. As I plummet into his chest.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. Agh I better go I nee-"
"Are you British or something?"
"Yeah, I just moved hear. Like a second ago." I said while tucking I piece of hair behind my ear.
"Wow awesome" he says while looking down at me. Half checking me out half looking at my suitcases.
"I can't let you walk round LA, with those huge bags! Come with me."
What's weirder, the fact that I'm about to get in a car with someone I've just met, or that I'm talking to a really hot guy and he is actually interested in me.
I jump in the car, he puts my bags in the back, he could murder me right now or he could be really nice. Hey I'm willing to take that chance.
"So why you in La - wait I don't even know your name"
"Lizzie" I said with a smile.
"Cool, I'm Ricky!"
"So why are you in LA then?"
"To go to school, but I don't start till after the summer"
"Awesome, so you've got the whole summer to relax with me then" he said cheekily.
"I guess so".
"So what do you want to do first"
"I don't know, but I need a change of clothes for sure"
"Okay, let's go to the mall"

We arrive and Ricky opens the car door for me.
"Let's go"
He grabs my waist to move me forward. No guy has ever touched me there before.
We walk into the mall and I am shocked by all the choices.
"Where first?"
I have no idea what shop sells what, but I just point at one that looks like it sells clothes.
I pick out a crop top, some shorts, sunglasses, flip flops and a white lace bikini.
I put out my bank card, but Ricky insists of paying.
"Ricky it's fine I have money"
"No it's fine, my treat"
"Fine"
I look at him and he looks into my eyes. His eyes twinkle in the sun.
"I'll go find a bathroom to get changed into"
I felt so much better with shorts on.
