“One Direction,” I whispered to myself as I typed in the name of Harry’s band into the Google search bar.

I hit enter and instantly results showed. I clicked on the first thing that came up, which was on Wikipedia, of course.

The page loaded, and the same picture of the boys that was on the news earlier came up on the Wikipedia sidebar. Underneath the picture, it read:

One Direction, boyband formed on UK X Factor

            Signed by Simon Cowell

            Members:

            Louis Tomlinson, 20, Doncaster, UK

            Zayn Malik, 19, Bradford, UK

            Niall Horan, 19, Mullingar, Ireland

            Liam Payne, 19, Wolverhampton, UK

Harry Styles, 18, Holmes Chapel, UK

Then it went on to say a few more things about where they were from, how they performed on X Factor, and how their debut album, Up All Night hit number one in the UK, Australia, and Ireland, and was set to come out on March 13th in the US. That impressed me, and what also impressed me was how none of them were ugly.

And the least ugly, of course, was Harry.

It showed a bunch of links to their performances, and something called a video diary. I clicked the one that lead to the video diary, and my heart fluttered when I saw Harry. He was sitting in the front of the group, next to Louis, his curly hair a little shorter than I remember. I smiled as the group introduced themselves, and began answering questions.

At the end, I clicked on the second video diary, and then the third, and up until the ones after the X Factor. I sat in my room for an hour laughing hysterically at the boys’ jokes, especially Louis’s humor.

But the thing that made me the most happy was Harry. He looked like he was genuinely enjoying himself.

I was so happy for him. I knew that his incredible singing voice would take him far. I remember saying once that I knew he was going to be famous.

            I guess I was right.

I think I was also right about something else:

            That I still loved him.
