The Party

Part 4

"Eddie. Eddie wake up." Richie said, shaking Eddie.

"Damn it Richie. I was sleeping." Eddie said, barley waking up.

"I know but we have to go. The movie ended."

"Ughhhh." Groaned Eddie

"I know I know, but c'mon Bill is having a party."

"Are you gonna get drunk?"

"Maaayyybe."

"Okay whatever. Let's go."

When Richie and Eddie got up, Eddies legs fell asleep; causing Eddie to trip on his own feet, falling into Richies arms. They just stood there...looking into each others eyes. That's when both of their faces started to burn a firey red.

"Uh we don't wanna be late." Richie said, trying not to make this situation awkward.

"Y-yeah your right." Said Eddie, fumbling to get up.

They both started walking to the door at the end, with their hands brushing against each other's every now and then. Their faces still red.

They got to the bikes, in complete silence.

"Race you to Bills!" Richie said, breaking the awkward silence.

"You wish Tozier!" Eddie responded, smiling.

They got onto their bikes, speeding off into the cool night wind.

Halfway to Bills, the two slow down to cruise next to each other. Occasionally Eddie would catch Richie staring at him, and sometimes Richie found Eddie staring at him.

If only Richie liked me or even was gay. I mean I bet he's straight because no one can be gay and be popular here in Derry. You just can't. Eddie was just staring off out to the long road in front of them. Quiet.

Few minutes later, they see Bills house, lit up with the inside lights. Dark figures passed by the windows. Richie and Eddie hid their bikes by the side of the house.

"So am I gonna knock or you?" Richie asked; looking down at the small boy.

"I don't really care. You go ahead." Eddie said; staring at the door and hearing all of the voices inside.

Richie basically pounded on the door, waiting for someone to answer. Nothing.

"Looks like-" Eddie began

"We're gonna have to climb the house to get in." Richie said, cutting off Eddie. He was already on the process of climbing up.

"Wait up!" Eddie yelled, following Richie.

When they got to the window it was unlocked but what they didn't know was what was waiting on the other side of it.

Richie was the first one to notice and took Eddie a few seconds to realize what was happening.

Noises were coming from a shut closet in the room. Richie signaled Eddie to be quiet, trying to listen what was going on. They soon realized it was much more than just talking in that closet. They instantly ran out of the room, laughing when they got out.

"So what now?" Richie asked, dying down his laughter.

"Wanna go see where the rest are?"

"Pretty sure those two" Richie said pointing behind him, "were Bill and Stan."

"Yeah I'm sure too." Eddie said, holing onto his left arm while talking to Richie

Eddie was love struck, and he loved it.
