"Hello my love. How have you've been lately?" His voice echos but still sounds sweet like honey to my ears.
"I've been doing better. How about you?" I began walking towards him, determined to see him, be in his arms. With each step, my heart began to pound with excitement; thinking maybe it'll finally see him.
I can see his figure coming to full view but I was forced back to where I was. Again.
"I would say I am but that would be a lie... also did you try again? You know it won't let us meet no matter how many times you try my love. Just face it." His tone changed when he said the last sentence which only made me upset even more than I was.
"Stupid force field thingy!! Always in the way of meeting each other. I get that it's a rule but its been too long since we first dreamt of each other. Shouldn't it be fair to finally let us see each other! ...even just for a moment."
"The time will come when we'll see each other.. only time will tell for now, this is the best we got."
We both stood in silence, unsure what to talk about. With each seconds passing felt like torture.
"Hey... you wanna hear me sing you a song?" He spoke up, holding his breath that he didn't even realize he was holding in.
"Of course. You know I love it when you sing to me." A smile appears on his face knowing that. For him, hearing it from others was nice but hearing it from her makes him all fuzzy and warm.
"Okay.."
