After way too long at sea the cew started to talk, a lot of suspicion and questioning about the captain's choices to go this far out, it seamed like madness. The sea was still and whales we're nowhere to be seen.

I was sat on deck doing nothing in particular just talking to Thomas and Mr.Joy as usual when my fater stood up and he walked to one side of the boeat in a suspicious manner 'Father what's wrong?' I asked and he looked at me 'listen' he said and just as he did one of the crew piped up 'I see white water!' he shouted and all of us rose to our feet 'where' my father asked quickly 'Portside!' he shouted down and the captain ran over 'were away!' he shouted sprinting to the edge of the ship pulling out a monocular to see where the whales could be 'portside captain!' Mr.Joy said as we all stood trying to see with our bare eyes.

'you see anything captain?' I asked and he smiled at me 'lower away!' he shouted and a bustle of crew ran to get the boats ready while shout's and cheers from the exited crew rang threw my ears 'the devil take the Mexican grounds' my father said with a laugh as he pushed past Mr.Joy and the captain. As we got onto our boats we rowed pass the dozens of wales.

'ive never seen so many wales before' I said with amazment in my eyes 'probably won't again so take it in darling' Mr.Joy said with a massive smile plastered on his face, the sea got rougher as the wales thrashed around we were all soaked and aching as we rowed.
Until a whale hit out boat shaking us, frightened expressions were all over the crews faces 'don't let him chew your oars boys, back to it!' My father demanded but just as he said so the whale kocked over our boat sending us all flying into the ocean.

My heart pounded as I struggled to swim back up. But when I did the whale lifted it's tail. A gigantic white tale blocked out the sun shading us so we could see it better before it slapped back onto the sea soaking us before disappearing under the waves. I looked over at my father who had a terrified but stunned expression on his face.

We flipped our boat over shoving out clothes into the cracks so we'd make it to the ship. After we got onboard I stood panting 'Mr.Lowrance, take us leeward head us straight for the school' my father demanded, Thomas came up to me giving me a towel 'you alright, you're shaking' he said and I looked up at him 'im just scared of deep waters, you never know what could pull you under' I said and he chuckled rubbing my shoulders 'what a job you've chosen for a person who's scared of the deep' he said and I chuckled 'yeah, ironic isn't it' I said smiling at him when all of a sudden we a went flying 'what the hell' I whispered standing up 'what was that Mr.Lowrance' one of the crew asked the man and his head was bleeding, I ran to him with a rag 'Sir, your head' I said putting it on and he held it as he looked around in shock 'Mr.Chace' one of the men called to my father before they both disappeared under deck.

'Thomas' I said running to him 'this isn't good' I said taking his hand involuntarily and he didn't questions it he just took it but again another push separated us and conected us with the floor the water making it slippery so we were all sliding on deck witch might sound funny to you but I can promise it was no laughing matter.

After the wale stopped pushing us we all got up, 'you alright?' I said rushing to a grunting Thomas 'yeah, just hit my head a bit' he said and I helped him up 'where is he?' I shouted to the cremate that was on the lookout 'port bow!' he shouted and My father and I rushed to the boats side to see a indescribably large wale, he was white with cuts all over him, he was probably twice the size of our ship and he looked mad as he thrashed around.

'get me the biggest irons we have' my father ordered 'father I don't think that's a good idea he's alredy angry we need to go while we still have a chance!' I said and he brushed me off 'Y/N don't you dare second-guess my judgement you understand!' he shouted 'he want's a fight' my father said while tying two spears together 'never seen a wale do that before' Mr.Lowrance said giving me chills 'hes warning us. Father trust me don't do this!' I shouted but he ignired me 'Mr.Ramsdell secure the other line to the foremast, Mr.Lowrence take the wheel' My father ordered anger like I've never seen before blinding his judgement 'As I live and breathe, he's mine' he said and I gave Thomas a worried look 'hold on to something' I said wrapping my hands around a rope and he followed my lead.

The wale started to go to our direction and my fathe threw the speir just missing his eye and the wale smashed his ginormous tale into the ship damaging it almost completely as the wale started to pull he took the ancour with him sending it flying 'cut the line!' My Father shouted and I saw the ancour flying in the direction of Thomas 'watch out!' I shouted pulling him out the way just as the acour shattered the wood in his place.

Thomas was on top of me, he looked me in the eyes 'thanks' he said nervously chuckling 'any day' I said and he smiled before quickly getting up and giving me a hand. This was about to be a damn disaster.
