Nayeon knew that she wasn't really careful about her hair. She hated her long hair, because someone loved them. She wanted to cut them, but couldn't muster up the courage for it.

Elizabeth knocked the door, Jungkook touched Nayeon's cheek "stop pouting and lets eat" he said and gave permission to Elizabeth to enter. She left after serving the food.

Nayeon took the same food, she did daily. Jungkook took a deep breath, nothing was different from yesterday. He took a plate and placed some pancakes in it "try them" he said putting the plate infront of Nayeon. She looked at them and then at her own plate "no it's fine" she said meekly.

"Don't you like it?" He asked turning her face towards him.

Nayeon couldn't even think of lying looking at her face. "I like them" she said.

"So eat" he said, Nayeon couldn't explain her problem

"Eat" he used his stern voice, Nayeon quickly picked her plate up.

She took a bite, she wanted to eat but her body was denying to comply. Her body was already growing tight, coiling in fear of punishment. Her brain knew that it won't happen but her body wasn't getting the message.

Jungkook saw her fighting with herself. Her cheeks were getting red, her eyes started to shine with unfallen tears.

Jungkook took her form and placed it in the plate. Nayeon still didn't look at him.

Jungkook wrapped his arm around her and placed her in his lap. She was petite, it wasn't difficult for him

Nayeon was shocked by sudden movement, she looked at him wide eyed and placed her hands on his chest.

Her cheeks were turning bright red and tears were ready to flow. Jungkook cupped her cheek and whispered "It's okay, its okay" he said pulling her closer. Nayeon hid her face in his neck, she wanted a break for her inner conflict.

Jungkook soothed her for sometime and then pulled his plate forward. Nayeon finally remembered their position and tried to get up but he held her still.

Her cheeks were now red with some other reason for her, his closeness was comforting, but there was also fear of losing, of being hurt again behind it.;
