Chapter 2 PICK ME UP

At the Bar

I am a bit too late. It's cold outside and I hurried to get to the bar. now I stand there with the smell of alcohol in the air and look for Bucky. it looks like he's like too so I sit down at the bar and order a drink. the barkeeper comes up to me gives me my drink and a shot. He winks at me. "From the handsome man on your right". I turn to my right and see him. James Buchanan Barnes. my heart beats a little bit stronger. I drink the shot and stand up to go to him. "Barnes" that's all I say. he smiles and stand up so I can take a seat next to him. then he sits down again. "you look good "he is directly next to me. It is loud in the Bar, so he must whisper in my ear. I shudder. His stubble scratching lightly on my skin. "I know I do" I smile at him mischievously. We talked for a while how things went out and everything. But then a girl from another table comes up to us. "hey handsome" she winks at Bucky and sits down on his lab. That makes me angry but I don't say anything I just stare into my drink. Bucky only raises his eyebrows. "Can I help you?" the girl bites her lips you can see that she's definitely flirting with him. "You could if you Take Me Home with you tonight" that was enough. I pretended to get a message. I'm sorry Buck it's getting late I gotta go. "I could drive you" "no thanks I will take a taxi." I stand up and leave the bar. seeing him flirting with another girl hurted me. But what did I expect? I'm still the 16 year old friend for him. It takes Me 2 minutes to call my Wanda and ask her to pick me up. She will be here in 10 minutes. While waiting I see Bucky and the girl coming out of the Bar. His arm is laying around his shoulder. I look away so he doesn't see me. I hear him laughing and hold back my tears. But then I feel a hand on my shoulder. "why did you wanted to go?" Bucky. I look at him angry. "you seemed a little bit busy." he starts laughing. "that was just flirting I don't like her and of course I wouldn't spend a night with her. She was extremely drunk and lost her friends. So I brought her back to them." I'm really ashamed now. back is not the boy I met seven years ago. there he was a Playboy but now.... "Oh..." that's all I say. his smile gets bigger. "why don't you come with me tonight." did Bucky Barnes just asked me to come with him!! like to his apartment. "sure I will just text Wanda that she doesn't have to pick me up." he nods "great, I will get the car wait here".
