Hi there! Welcome to my book full of random shit! So I've been writing more lately but none of it was ever long enough to make full stories so I decided to create one book that has a load of different things ranging from short stories, one-shots, venting chapters, etc. This is also a place where if you need to chat about life and need different opinions or if it's a private matter pm me!
This isn't a very long intro I know so here's a snippet of a story I'm writing, I would like your opinion on it!
'Every year, on the 8th of September, in the city of Esterwood, ten children at the age of twelve are taken to the Iris. Each child is given a power, and with this power, they are secretly trained under the Iris. The kids are taught how to control their power until they are able to go back into the city. Once back in Esterwood they are able to live a normal life while fighting criminals if needed. This story starts three hours before the Choosing, which is really just a name that one person started calling it and it just caught on. It starts right after the cat knocks down Grandmother's vase.'
I also will eventually need a name so if you have any good ideas just off of this snippet I would love to hear them!
Also real quick, I do swear so if you not comfortable with that please let me know or just stop reading.
