Monday Merena's POV
Rock had already left to take the girls to school. I had already started my car and packed my hair bag for today. I was doing a couple of lace fronts and then I had to style a bride for her wedding. I made sure the door was locked and got in my car. I drove to my salon and parked in my personal parking spot. I got out the car and walked up to the door. It was a paper on the door and my door were chained.
I opened the paper and it basically said that my shop was closed because of money laundering in my salon. I really wondered why we were being closed because they didn't let me know anything about an investigation or tell me who was suspec. It was damn near Chicago who did it while we were together. I snatched the paper off the door and went over to his tattoo shop. I opened the door so har that the glass broke. I stormed into his office and put the paper on the table
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THIS IS ALL I EVER WANTED CHICAGO AND YOU GOT THE NERVE TO DO ME LIKE THIS?!"
I grabbed a bat from the corner of his wall and broke his glass desk. I went into the lobby and broke the glass reception desk, the glass table, and the trophy case that had merch in it. I felt a pair of arms around me and I looked down and it was Rock
" You gotta calm down. These people will call the police," he whispered into my ear
It gave me chills down my body and I ended up calming down. We walked to my car and he stopped and held my hands and looked at me
"What happened?" He asked
"Apparently my shop is being shut down because of money laundering. I never got any type of paper or anything. Like how am I supposed to make my money now? I worked hard for my shop and I know it was him"
"I'll buy you another one bae. You will still get all your supplies and plus I was thinking about us getting a building together," he said while he smiled at me
"That sounds like a good idea. We can both be bosses," I said with a small smile
"We'll be two good bosses but calm down. Imma call the sergeant tomorrow and get all your things out of there. Ok?" He said
"Ok. Thank you, I love you handsome"
"I love you too crazy. Now get back in the car and I'll be home in a little bit" he said
"Ok. Give me a kiss"
He lifted my chin and kissed me. I smiled and pulled away. He walked back to the tattoo shop and I got back in my car. I called all my people that I had appointments for and told them that they would have to be postponed. I sent the bride to a different stylist because she needed it. I also decided to pay since her wedding was supposed to be later in the day. I went back home and went in the house. I decided to watch tv. I heard a knock at the door and got up. I opened it and it was my sister and some random girl
"Surprise shawtyyyy," my sister said like that man off of tik tok
"What are you doing here? You were supposed to stay where you were at and never come back until I told you to and who is this? You know I don't do random people. Plus I don't have any more rooms left"
"For one I'm here because it's boring and I miss youuu! And this is our cousin Erica on mom's side. Also I know the at you don't that's why I got a house," she said
I honestly forgot about Erica. Erica was always the one who didn't like me but always got along with merena more. They were like besties. Me and Erica don't have a good past at all
"You know I don't like Erica. Don't know why you brought her here but talk to me when you don't bring her around"
"Sister don't be like that. She let that go, you should too," she said
"I'm not letting anything go. Let's not talk about letting go. Please just get back in your car and come see me when she's not around"
"Fine. Just hardheaded like dad," she said
I rolled my eyes and slammed the door. She knows what Erica did. Everyone knows for a fact.
"Who was that in the driveway mamas?" Rock asked
"My sister and my cousin Erica," I said blowing out a loud breath
He came up behind me and lifted my head from my chin so I was looking at him
"Why you got an attitude?" He asked
"I don't!"
"Cut it out. Don't start your little fit. Act right," he said then he let go off my head and kissed my cheek
I felt like I was going to throw up so I ran to the half bathroom and threw up what I had ate for breakfast. It could mean two things, I am pregnant or just have a stomach bug. At this point I don't know
