It had been 4 months since the assassination of Jschlatt and Tubbo and Quackity were no where near figuring out who had killed Jschlatt. After a month, the cops stopped looking for evidence so it was up to Tubbo and Quackity to figure out who killed him. The two had interrogated everyone 3 times separately, Tubbo just wanted peace for his dad while Quackity wanted justice for him. They haven't gotten anywhere so they decided to go make dinner. Quackity made the spaghetti while Tubbo made the garlic bread when one of the cabinets opened and the pepper fell out. "What the...." Quackity puts it back in the cupboard and continues stirring the sauce "Hey Tubbo?" Tubbo looks up "yeah dad?" "Can you get me the garlic salt?" "Sure" Tubbo stands on his tippy toes and reaches for the salt when someone or something pushed him back and he fell. "Tubbo?!" Quackity asks him, concerned "I'm ok, just lost my balance, I got the garlic salt though" he holds it up and smiles, handing it to him. "Thanks kiddo" "You're welcome" he pulls the garlic bread out and puts it on the table while Quackity serves them. They go and sit down to eat in peace.
~1 hour passes~
Tubbo had gotten out of the shower and went to bed while Quackity stayed up for a few more hours, watching T.V. He eventually fell asleep on the couch but was waken up by Tubbo "D-dad..?" Quackity looks at him "Hey what's wrong?" "I heard a scratching noise and a whisper outside my door, it was like 'Tubbo come here' I freaked out and waited for the scratching to stop then I went to get you...can I stay out here with you?" Quackity smiles "Pf course you can" he pulls Tubbo close and places a blanket over him and himself "Sleep well kiddo" Tubbo was fast asleep by the time he had said that so he himself went back to sleep. A voice in Tubbos room said "Tubbo...Quackity...I know who did it....but...I need your help first..."
