Music was blasting through my ears as I made my way from the toilets along with my friend Autumn. It was the 28th of May, my birthday, and I was finally 14 years old. I have just started year 9 at a new school and I was already really popular. My best friend Ted, was on holiday at the moment, and couldn't make it for my birthday or the party...
"Hey hun. Did you miss me?" I heard a familiar raspy voice from behind and instantly recognised it as Teds. His warm arms wrapped around my waist as he handed me a bouquet of roses. I blushed as he spun me round and kissed my cheek. Everybody would instantly assume that we are dating, but we're not.
