Thats how Kageyama Tobio would describe you. Thats right, the King of the Court was head over heels for you. He never dared to talk to you but he would always be a distance away, admiring you.

He had 3 classes with you, and they were the highlight of his day. Science, History, and English. 2nd period was Science and you sat in the seat in front of him. You liked to get to class early so that you could settle in. With Kageyama's seat right behind yours, he would often find himself staring. 

Today, you had earbuds in, probably listening to some anime opening(you weeb). Your head swayed from side to side, enjoying the music. Kageyama look in awe of how pretty you were. He had always wanted to try and talk to you, but the big dork could never. However, you were good friends with Hinata Shoyo, and he was your lab partner.

"Y/N-SANNNNNNNN" The bright little boy came jumping to seat, and greeted you.

"Morning Shoyo!" You replied. Hinata was well aware of the setter's crush and looked back to motion to Kageyama that now was the chance to talk to her. 

Kageyama pretended to not notice him and proceeded to get his notes ready. Hinata puffed in annoyance and decided to take the matter into his own hands. He took out his phone and texted you.

You hear the buzz of your phone and take it out, you see the preview of the message and turn to ask why Hinata had texted you instead of merely talking. But Hinata has his index finger to mouth. Curiously, you open the message.

Okay, so you had a crush on the big dork, you came to see Karasuno's practice matches every time and subtly eyed the raven-haired setter. You never thought he was interested. Just a silly crush. That's what he was. 

At least, that what you thought he was.

You sigh and turn off your phone, look at Hinata and roll your eyes.

Kageyama was just drinking his milk box and then the love of his life turned around and gave him a warm,

"Morning Kageyama-san! Sorry for saying good morning so late." You wanted to crawl into a hole and die. 

He stared at your e/c eyes, processing what just happened.

"H-huh? OH. G-good morning L/N-san! No worries!" He could slap himself.

From that day onward Hinata would always hint to either of you to start a conversation. And little by little, Hinata stopped giving the hints. The three of you became very close and started eating lunch together even. You came to the official matches often and would always cheer them on.

Kageyama was as happy as he could ever be. Even if they'd lost a game, you would ways be there and your smile always brightened everything.

But Hinata wasn't satisfied. After 5 months and the most progress you two made was hi-fives.

~time skip~

It was right before a practice match with Date Tech and Kageyama was extremely stressed. You come up behind to try to scare him with a little shake on the shoulders.

No reaction. 

Yamaguchi peeks over the wall and gives you a frightened shake of his head. You ignore him and wrap your arms around Kageyama.

"Y-Y/N?"

You let go and pat him on the head.

"I'm rooting for you!"
