Summer 2012
I've been looking for summer job forever see I'm a going to be a junior but its the summer. I did't really have anything to do so might as well find something to do and I can make money. I'm not that interesting just saying I can play the piano I'm not the best though I can sorta sing... ok lets be real I suck. I do piano recitals sometimes honestly there's not much of a difference but the keyboard is for sure better.
As I was saying I was looking for a job and I came home after some meetings and hanging out with friends. My mom was sitting on the couch with my dad, I said hi and as I was about to go my room my mom says.
"I think I found you a job that you would like" she said just staring at the T.V. I stopped walking up the stairs turned around and walked right towards her.
"What's the job?" I say a little slow worried on what she thinks I like.
"Its to play the keyboard for some band"
"And exactly who's the band" at this point I was a little scared that she was talking about some garage band.
"I don't really know we'll find out when you get in or if you do"
"What are you talking about mom?" now I was worried and my mom could tell.
"Don't worry about it, it's going to be fine you get to go to London if you get the job."
"ok..."
I went up to my room to look at my computer and watch some youtube. Suddenly I got a email I checked it and it said something like Dear Sydney you have been selected to play the keyboard for the band One Direction. I thought to myself I've never heard of that. I went down stairs to talk to my mom.
"Hey mom do you know what the band was called?"
"Um I don't remember right now but if I heard it I'll know it."
"Was it One Direction?"
"Yes! How do you know, did you get the email if you got the job?"
"Yeah I go the job"
"Great!" after that I went back upstairs to read the rest of the email. It said to call a certain number t confirm it so I got out my iphone 4 and dialed the number.
