Billie's•POV

I open my eyes to see a bright light shining directly down on me. I wince at the pain it gives my eyes. I slowly open them again and soon realize that I'm laying down in a hospital bed. I have no idea how the fuck or when the fuck I got here.

I look over and see both of my parents slumped in a chair across from my bed; sleep. I feel something next to me shifting around so I turn any head and see Kaylee. She's cuddled into my side with a protective arm draped across my waist. Man what the fuck happened?

Kaylee's•POV 2 days ago

After getting a call from Finneas telling me that Billie was in the hospital, I dropped everything I was doing and rushed down to the hospital. The whole bus ride there I was anxious and scared. 'What happened to my baby?' Was the only thing I wondered.

Soon as I got in the building I was met with a receptionist, who was an older white lady. "Hey I'm here to see Billie O'Connell," I tell her frantically. "Okay are you a family member or spouse of the patient?" She asked rudely. "N-no..well yes, well.." I stop and take a deep breath to calm my nerves before continuing "She's my girlfriend."

"Sorry only family members and spouses can visit," she brushes me off before going back to type on her computer. I seriously don't feel like fighting with this lady so I pull out my phone to call Finneas. "Hey I'm here but they won't tell me what room she's in because I'm not family." I huff.

"Okay I'll come down to the lobby right now and come get you."

"Alright," I say before hanging up. I'm very anxious and on edge right now. What even happened? I've never been so scared in my life. What scared me even more, was the panic Finneas was in when he first called me.

"Kaylee!" I heard Finneas shout, "Yeah I'm right here. What happened to her?"

"She got shot but we don't know who shot her." I felt my heart drop when he said that. Shot? Who would shoot her? The only person I can think of is.. that crazy bitch Jazmine.

Would she go THIS far and shoot her?? I don't think anything is ever that serious but then again jealousy can make someone do some crazy shit. Then I remember the text message I got a few days ago. I feel so bad because if I would've told someone that I got that text we probably could've avoided all of this.

Now the love of my life is laying in there injured and could possibly be fighting for her life all because of...me

Billie's•POV present time

I see Kaylee cuddled into me fast asleep. I try to sit up but I feel an excruciating amount of pain in my left shoulder. I let out a loudish wince causing Kaylee and my parents both to shoot up awake. "Oh my God you're awake!" My mom screams while running over to the left side of the bed.

She hugged me while crying into my shoulder. I look forward and see my dad standing there with his hands in his pockets smiling. I turn to my right, and see Kaylee looking like she's on the verge of tears. "I'm fine Ma jeez" I laugh out while nudging her off of me. She picks her head up with a sniffle and a smile before walking back over to my dad.

I turn to Kaylee and open my arm gesturing for her to hug me. "Oh my God you scared me!" She cried out before burying her head into my neck. "I'm fine now mama there's no reason to cry" I whisper into her hair. I hug her tighter before turning my head to my parents.

"Where's Finneas?"

"He went to pick up Claudia to bring her here," my dad said. I nodded my head in response. "Wait how long have I been here?"
