Lost and found

I was lost for so long

I was all over the place

I wouldn't take a second to breathe.

I'd just keep running and jumping into the next picture.

It kept getting me hurt.

But I stopped,

I slowed down
I took a breath of relief

I wasn't drowning
Why did I waste so much time drowning

When I could've been breathing
Gods I can breathe again!

I can smile again.
I can laugh again.
I can be me again.

I'm alive again.

I was so lost
In a fog
Caught up trying in trying to be picture perfect
But I'm found now
Caught up in healthy things
I'm can talk about those thoughts now
I can manage the pain now
I can be who I wanna be.

I was so lost.

But now I'm found.
