《Kirishima's POV》

I opened my tired eyes when the suns bright light began to peek through my window. I groaned and threw the blanket over my head, hoping to fall back asleep. The moment was short lived when I heard someone in the kitchen and the smell of bacon instantly filled my nose. I jumped out of bed and started walking down the hall.

"Thanks again for the help. Normally, I wouldn't ask-" my mother spoke cheerfully.

"Its fine. I was already awake." I froze when Bakugou answered.

I hadn't even realized he left the room this morning.

"Morning, Eijirou!" My father greeted.

"Hey, dad."

"Oh, Eijirou, you're awake. Come sit. Breakfast is almost ready." My mother said sweetly.

I nodded and sat down at the table next to my father. He was preoccupied doing something on his laptop so I stayed quiet.

A few minutes later Bakugou walked out and handed me a plate. He didnt say anything as he turned and walked back into the kitchen. My mother was the next to walk out with two plates in her hands. She set one in front of my father and the other in front of herself as she sat down.

"Bakugou insisted that he make yours first so he could make sure you ate enough. He's a keeper." She winked and giggle slightly like an excited schoolgirl.

I felt a warm blush cover my cheeks as Bakugou walked in with his own plate and sat beside me. We ate in silence for the most part. My parents spoke up occasionally to talk about their trip.

"Everyone was wondering where you were, Eijirou." My father commented.

"Yea. Sorry." I mumbled, dropping my gaze to the table.

"Oh, sweetie. Don't be. We wouldn't force you to go." My mother said gently.

I could feel Bakugou watching me. Probably wondering what they were talking about. I stopped going to visit my other family members two years ago. I used to love going but then I found out I was gay and my cousin humiliated me by shouting it out to the whole family. Turns out some of them are a little homophobic so I stopped going. My mother always said it was up to me and that she didn't hold it against me for wanting to stay home.

After everyone was finished eating, I helped my mom clean up the kitchen before heading up to my room. Bakugou was already in there, sitting on his futon. He only glanced at me as I walked in.

"Are you wondering why I dont visit my family?" I questioned as I sat beside him.

"Your shitty life is your own, human. It's none of my concern." I was slightly taken aback by the sudden professionalism.

Is he upset with me?

"Did I do something?" I asked softly.

"Define 'something'."

"Did I annoy you in any way?"

He glanced over at me, seeming conflicted on how to answer. A flash of guilt crossed his face before he glared at me.

"Shut up." He groaned and looked to the other side of the room.
