December 12, 1981 part 2

Since he had no idea where the apartment was he decided to venture the crescent path to an old oak tree down by a frozen lake. He felt like someone was following him from behind, then he remembered a piece from life in war

"When the earth is covered and no one knows, danger is sure to follow not far behind the only way out is for them to fight through mountains and slopes soldiers should look and maybe have hope. Guns and rifles are headed your way make sure you have shields and even some ways."

David looked around for a while then continued his hike realizing he had gone to far he decided to head back. On his way back he heard low rumbling sounds in the distance like snickers, gun shots, and a deep growl. David picked up his pace almost running he then sees a tree bark dripping with saliva, he makes his way toward the light of the rental cabin heart beating faster by the minute it was almost 3 minutes til sunset he made into their rental cabin and slammed the door behind him soaking in what he just saw.
